I doubt the 1-2 extra sodas is hurting you but it is probably worth a try to try to cut that out. Which plan are you following: alpha, beta, or gamma. I am trying to eat like an alpha and exercise like a gamma. I think I am a gamma but I cant eat that little and do all this cardio. It seems to be working so far, I am losing pretty consistently.

I'm a gamma. The last one. The hardest one. Yep thats me. I take Tamoxifen and I swear that is some wicked stuff when it comes to weight gain/loss. I gained 23 pounds when I started on it and am still trying to lose 10 of it. I have toggeled for the past two years between 135 and 152. I go down and then right back up. I feel like I need to workout 3 times everyday in order to lose anything so I am really hoping this will work for me. I know these 5 pounds this week were probably water, but dang it I keep losing water and then refinding it. Ver frustrating. I've done every diet out there and none of them seem to work. Atkins use to be my fav (still would be if I could get past the 140 mark and stay). I love it and miss it when Im not on it, but I just dont lose anymore on it either.

One day I will be off this drug and then hopefully my body will go back to normal.

I'm gonna try to stick to the 2 a day for this next cycle. I start cycle 2 tomorrow and it looks even harder. Man the food consumption goes way down. There are some meals that I am already looking at going no way I will be full. A veggie burger (no bun) and thats it? What? I'll try!

Well off to get the son to bed and then me.

Happy weighing in the morning.

Amy

I weighed myself and I am up 2 :(. I have to think that it is a normal fluctuation since I have been good except for one bad meal this past Saturday. I have done extra cardio every day to try to make up for it. Anyways, I will keep at this diet as I know that I will eventually hit my goal.

It is getting easier as the days go on. I like not wondering what I have to eat on a given day.

Hi everyone:)

I started cycle 1 on 8/6 and so far so good. Day one and two was good. Today is day three for me. So far, I'm not having problems with the exercise. I hope that continues though!! The foods are very similar to what I eat usually, but it's a challenge when I want something that I know won't fit in with the plan!!!

Well here I am at 140 still. Scale has not moved since the first 2 days. Weird as we are not eatting hardly any calories. Maybe 1200 if we are lucky and then all the exercise. I dont get it, I would think we would all be done a bunch and not just water weight, which I know was what my 5 pounds were. Any time you lose 5 pounds in two days you know its water. So were is all this fat loss? I'll finish out this week and see what happens. My mind is already wandering back to atkins thinking. Just because at least on atkins if I'm hungry I can eat some cheese and pepperoni and not just a pickle that has tons of sodium in it. Havent figured out who those are freebies.

Keep your chin up and maybe those 2 pounds are just water from the bad meal on Saturday. With luck we will be down tomorrow.

I hope both of you are doing well and the scale starts to move soon. Sometimes it just takes a little time for the scale to register all of the hard work!

Cycle 1 day 3 and 4 went good for me. Today is already day 5! I can't believe it's gone by so fast. Hopefully by the end of the cycle, I have some good results to show!
