Recommendation for Workout
Hey Girls,
I just wanted to make a BIG recommedation for a workout that really does work. I just started it last night but let me tell you...I feel the burn! The workout is Harvey Walden IV's "Fighting Fit, Fighting Fat" DVD. This is the workout that the celebrities used on Celebrity Fit Club. This is "aimed for all ages and levels of fitness, this program is designed to produce flatter, firmer stomach, toned arms, buttocks, and thighs and more energy; improving health and fitness and creating weight loss."
First there is the Walden Warm-up which you do for 8 minutes. It is a 3 stage introduction to get you raring to go, stretched and energized.
Then there are 3 cycles in the main workout which last 45 mins if you do all three. He recommends that if you are a beginner just start with cycle 1 then move to the cool down (which is what i did). Each cycle features 15 exercises (Marching, Skipping, Boxing, Lunges, Star Jumps, Box-Press, Jogging...) during which Harvey encourages and motivates you to work hard to gain results. ("You better be giving me 110% is one of his favorites to say) Harvey's "Fit" Team demonstrates each exercise and show how some can be changed to become more challenging as you become stronger and fitter.
Finally is the cool down which lasts 6 minutes. Harvey takes you through the paces of 2 stage cool down to stretch out and protect your muscles.
I def. recommend this DVD if you want someone to motivate you to do the work. I hope to see results from doing this and I will let you all know how to turns out in the end!
