Smile I'm a newbie

I STARTED THIS MORNING AND A I'M SO EXCITED!!! I usually do a lot better when I have a meal plan provided to me.

I have a quick question....Can I used canned beans? I really don't have the time or the skill to cook beans from scratch.

Welcome triple - Yes, canned beans are fine. Dr. Ian says that "fresh is always better", but I think that applies mainly to fruits and veggies. I haven't cooked a bean yet and I'm doing ok! I always rinse them first, though, to get all of the starch off.

Oops - I forgot - Check out the stickies at the top of the FS forum page. There's a Q&A with Dr. Ian that answers many questions.
