Today I've done soooo well on the Fat Smash Diet (day 1). I had one cup of coffee as I had a headache and attribute it to caff withdrawals. Otherwise it's gone fabuloulsy. I did 200 steps on my LTT then we went for a 25 minute family walk. I have taken in around 130oz water so far, and am still drinking! I took my muilti-vit. I can do this!!!!

Brek- 1/2 c oatmeal made with cinnamon, milk and a mashed banana (for sweetening), 1 cup rooibos tea

Snack- 1 cup pintos, assorted fruits and veg, 2 hard boiled egg whites

Lunch- 3 banana flax oat pancakes

Dinner- 1 cup taco style lentils & rice, large salad with the 3T salad dressing allowed, cup of rooibos tea

Snacked on lots of fruits and veg all day. Have had well over 130 oz water so far.

(I think that's everything)

Another great day! Not as great as yesterday (I think it was the adrenaline yesterday), but it was a success none the less. I was going to go for a walk tonight, but ended up at Target instead to purchase a juicer. Luckily I did get in 20 crunches, 30 bicycle crunches, 200 steps on the LTT, a 30-second plank hold and 12 modified (A*K*A "girly" pushups).

Today's menu:

Brek- 1/2 c oatmeal with diced apples & cinnamon & milk, 1 cup rooibos tea

Snack- Banana Bread Smoothie (THNX bluehippo!)

Lunch- 1 serving black beans and rice wrapped in lettuce leaves

Snack- Peach pancakes

Dinner- 1 serving black beans & rice, sauteed veggies in low sodium soy sauce, olive oil & 5-spice powder. Dessert was a leftover pancake- cold (YUM!)

I snacked on cut fruit & veg the rest of the day, drank around 150 oz water and am feeling good overall. I did cave this afternoon and added sweetener to my tea. I'm OK with that! It's still 100X better that what I was hogging a week ago!!!

I got really exhausted and sick feeling yesterday, so I've decided not to do the 9 day detox. I did do well though after I decided and only had 2-3oz meat, 1/2 cup pasta and almost half plate of veggies, 1 cup of frozen yogurt (I forwent the chocolate syrup I'm so fond of). I'm still going to lose the weight, I just need to get creative. I may still do detox days a few times a week, but I can't stick to it for a whole 9 days.

I'll need to find a new support group & forum on here!!! THNX bluehippo for ALL your support. Your pm's have meant so much to me!!!
