anyone do pilates?

I tired windsor pilates about a 2 years ago but I had just had my 3rd c-section and it was killing my ab muscles at the time so I gave up. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions about beginners pilates or yoga at home workouts. I figured I would give it another try. I am going to do cardio but would like to do something like pilates and yoga while my kids nap. I figured it would be a good time to do something for myself and tone up a bit...ok, alot!:D

I really like the Crunch pilates videos. Pick Your Spot Pilates is my favorite, it's broken into three sections (abs, butt, legs) and you can do the whole workout or just one or two ten-minute segments. It's a good way to ease into it, and the instructor isn't annoying.

I have heard of the Crunch workouts, but not the pick-your-spot ones. I will have to check them out at amazon.com. Thanks

I do Winsor Pilates 3 times per week and it does WONDERS! I look more firm and can always feel the workout in my abs.

Another good one if you don't have a lot of time outside of your regular workout time but still want to add pilates into your day somehow is 8-min pilates. It has 3 different stages from beg.-adv. You may see the 8-min part and think it's a waste of time but at the end of the dvd I'm always dripping in sweat and feeling the burn, in my abs especially. It's a great way to unwind at the end of the night before bed when my homework is done, my children are in bed, and my husband is doing his thing. Plus I get to take a nice relaxing bath afterwards with no one saying "mommy, mommy".

8 min sounds awesome. The shorter, the better. I too have three boys and they are always bugging me when I am in the shower or bath. I actually got to take a shower this morning with no one peeking in on me playing 20 questions and asking "why?" after everything I say! It was wonderful.
