Only 2 pounds! Need help!
This is my 6th day on the FT diet, and I only lost 2 pounds! :mad: But I did cheat on my diet..........I went ot applebee's on saturday and ate four fries, some nachos a wrap and a mud slide..........so I guess it's no one's fault but my own that I on ly lost 2 pounds. But the next day I went to the gym and burneed 845 calories to compensate. I can never stick to a diet. And I thought that this time I could do it. I need some help girls!

Don't get discouraged! The outing to applebee's probably bloated you a bit. You still have today and 3 more to go. I noticed that I didn't lose hardly any weight until towards the end of the detox. Could be why Dr. Ian says to stay off of the scale until the 10th day. Are you eating every 3 to 4 hours?? Drinking enough water? Those are things that I have trouble with. But, they do make a difference. Hang in there! You may want to do a couple of extra detox days to make up for the applebee's outing. Just a suggestion. :) Sherry |
Thanks for the encouragement. I almost gave up and ate out for lunch. Your right I only have a few more day's left. I'll stick it out. I'll just exercise extra today. I eat enough I don't drink enough. I drink about 3 glasses maybe four a day. And that includes my milk lol! I think i'll do much better on friday once I can have meat. I love chicken! lol! Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie! Your starting weight was 151... you cant compare your 2lbs (which is HUGE btw) to my 6lbs or the numbers others lose.. Some of us out weigh you by a good bit.
My question to you is how do you feel? I feel like a million bucks heath wise.. I feel clean on the inside from all the healthy food. Give yourself a break and keep your chin up. You WILL get there! |

I feel great! But my stomache looks like I'm 4 months pregnant! I GAVE BIRTH 9 MONTHS AGO! It would be so much easier to get a mini tummy tuck.....I'llt ry phase one over again but if it doesn't work out I'll be devastated! Plus when I got weighed at the doctor it said that i weighed 156! That's a 7 pound difference from what my scale say's at home. I'M FATTER THEN I THOUGHT!

I guess I'm just mad I'm not lossing as fast as you girls are. But then again you girls didn't cheat like I did. I guess when you put it that way two pounds a week is the norm.........Thanks for making me feel better

I can go up 5 or down by 5 lbs in a week. I never really know if its true weight loss. I also have been limited in doing to exersize because of a back injury I have been limited in movement since Aug 2006. I have also just finished a sereis of steriod injections so I blow up and have a nice do9uble chin from it. Does anyone know if this will go away? This is making my legs look like blubber. I too cheated I had a hamburger 2x in the last 6 days. A hand ful of fries a 2 sips of soda ( I had a headache from low sugar) and a mini blizzard. Its always when I am outI have issues. Poor planning on my part. Any suggestions what I can do? I stretch with Yoga as much as I can. I really cant walk 30 minutes. HELP!!

Angela the steroid shot will make you blow up but it is just temporary. I think the best exercise for you is to walk as fast or as slow as you can. Planning is a BIG issue I think. I do great all week and blow it on the week ends. I'm also like you and can go up and down 5lbs. For me it's fluid and really shows when I food I don't cook myself.
HoneyBun I'm a slow loser also. I try so hard and exercise so much and nothing happens then all of a sudden boom a 5 lb loss in a week. Hang in there. :) Needless to say we all need to stop the cheating.:tape: I'm starting the EFS tomorrow. I send out a challenge to all of you to stay on plan the whole 3 wks. OMG! I just got back from the store and all of this fruit and veggies sitting in my fridge is making me think negatively. I am freaking out!!!!
I do have a question, I did purchase Weight Watchers NON-Fat yogurt and I am wondering if that is okay? Also, I purchased Boca Burgers...I can't recall if I saw on this site that someone else ate those during their 9 days????? AM I REALLLLLLY GONNA STICK WITH THIS?! Good grief. :( PS. ATOMICBETTY, I'll be checking in daily....TRUST ME! I need the support as well! :( |
Thanks I am om an electic stimulator now. I am going to try to walk a little every morning. I am also ready to be up for the challenge. I am trying to stay positive. I was crying most of the day Sat. in pain and feeling sorry for myself. I helped put up some tile in my bathroom and was really hurting by the eve, just handing tiles and wiping them off. I really dont think this diet works w/ out exersize. i just am looking for something to keep me working for. I have also been studying for my LSAT in June. Thank everyone and good luck.
