Question for the group

  • Hi All,
    I've been looking through the whole foods thread and noticed quite a few recipes for roasting veggies. In p1 he says that foods are only to be eaten grilled raw or steamed. Do you think I could still eat roasted veggies? They re quire little oil and are quite like grilling. I am not the best of cooks (a self proclaimed cookbook cook), so I wasn't sure if this was acceptable in p.

    If anyone could help me out I owuld appreciate it.
  • Lovemacon! Hey there. Well that's how I did my veggies when I did Phase 1. I don't think it hurt with weight loss. I still lost. I only put like a light drizzle of olive oil, on my veggies. Hope that helps!

    When I roasted my veggies, I either did them on the grill or broilled them at a high heat for a short time. I also used any juice that came out in the recipe so I don't think I lost any nutrients.

  • thanks for the responses. I am currently in phase 2, but am thinking of doing phase 1 again before moving on to phase 3. I am doing good on p2, but just want to redo p1.
