  • So, the month of love is rolling upon us. It seems as if this is a fairly small group, which frankly, I love. I'm wanting to start a challenge, by month, whether its pounds lost, minutes excersized, or water drank. So, I'm putting it out there for me, I hope you ladies<men too, if we have any!> will join me, and if not, call my name every week so I can be accountable. So, here's my challenges for me.

    I WILL lose 8 pounds in the month of February.
    I WILL do 120 minutes of cardio in the month of February.
    I WILL do 60 minutes of weight training every week in February.

    For me, once it's in black and white, once I've said I WILL do something, it's become a promise, so, now I have to do it . It's a silly method that works for me.

    I hope some of you join me!

    Here are my challenges for the month of February.

    I WILL lose 6 lbs in the month of February
    I WILL do 4 hours of cardio every week in the month of February
    I WILL drink 450 oz of water every week in the month of February

    I WILL LOSE 7 POUNDS IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.
    I WILL EXERCISE 800 MINUTES IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.
    I WILL DRINK 8 GLASS OF WATER PER DAY IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.

  • I would like to join in to. I'll be just starting with Phase 1 on Feb. 1st. Since I am not sure what the standard amt of weight is to loose during phase 1, I will estimate as best I can.

    I will loose 10 or more pounds in the month of February
    I will work out 5 days a week. (1 hour each day)
    I will drink 8 glasses of water per day.

  • I would like to join your February challenge too! I recently went to a speech by Dr. Ian Smith and it was fantastic. Besides the fact that I want to try this diet I signed up for a local "Biggest Loser" and if I get picked on Feb 5th I will start this diet February 9th. Even if I do not do the contest I will start February 6th.

    I WILL lose 10 pounds in the month of February.
    I WILL do at least 30 minutes of cardio at least 4 days a week in the month of February.
    I WILL strictly do Phase I of the Fat Smash Diet in February.
  • Ok - here is mine.

    I will reach or exceed my maintenance weight goal in February - only 4 lbs to go (but I will take a few extra, haha).

    I will continue to Jazzercise a minumum of 5 days per week

    I will up my running for 30 min/day, 3 days/week to 5 days a week.

    I will go back to my full body weight training in Feb 3 days per week. (I am just doing arms now).

    I think all that will be easy except running 5 days - the treadmill is so boring. I can't wait for warm weather!

    Some of you already know this but I agreed to post bikini photos by May 1 on here - anyone else want to join me in that challenge as well? You can cut your head off, we just want to see those slender bodies

  • I'm joining as well. These are my goals...

    I WILL lose at least 8 pounds in the month of February.
    I WILL do at least 30 minutes of cardio 3-5 days a week this month.
    I WILL weight train 3-5 days a week.
    I WILL drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
    I WILL NOT touch a cookie, cake, pastry or any other food that would destroy my diet (For most of the month, I'm thinking about staying on Phase 1 anyway).

    I am new to the forum. Today is my first day of Phase I of the Fat Smash... Wish me Luck!!

    My goals...
    I WILL complete Phase I (lots of questions though)
    I WILL lose at least 8lbs in the month of Feb.
    I WILL get in at least 200 mins of cardio a week
    I WILL get in my 64oz of water a day
    I WILL make sure I use this forum for support
    I WILL write down something I love about myself everyday!!

  • MzBrat, I think writing something you love about yourself everyday, is a fantastic goal, so is using this forum for support. We ALL know the struggle for weight loss, from 100 pounds to 15 pounds, it ALL matters. Congratulations on joining us and on dedicating yourself to a healthier lifestyle.
  • Hey alll I am joining this as well.
    I will jog one hour five days a week
    I will sign up for and run in our local five K race (sorry my fives, and sixes are not working on my computer) ughhhh. Ha ha.
    I willlose six pounds
    I willenjoy my journey now and not keep waiting to enjoy life once I have lost the weight.

    I wanna join too!

    Goals:

    I will lose 10 pounds in February :

    I will hit my 10,000 steps each weekday and 5,000 on weekend days

    I will drink 32 oz each day of water (not enough but more than I ever get now, I was trying for 64 but keep missing it so starting small)

    I will do toning exercises on either my arms or legs or both each day of the month.

    I will eat between 1200-1400 cals each day (some can be a little less) and one day can go to 1700. (Low fat)

    These have worked so far so let's see how they do for February!
