I love love love pasta and miss it dearly. However, I just found these tofu noodles they sell (i got mine at a place in Dallas, TX called Cental market) They are called Tofu Shirataki and you buy them cold in a bag. They are noodles made of Tofu. The bag has 2 servings here are the details....

Servings per pkg - 2
Calories - 20
Fat Cal - 5
Total fat - 0.5
Total Carb. 3g
Fiber - 2g
0 trans fat

Ingredients - Filtered water, tofu, yam flour etc.

Based off of what everybody has told me i can have tofu so i hope these are ok. If not please let me know!!!! I havent had them yet so i can speak to the taste.

HI,

Those sound good. The only thing you have to watch out for on detox is preservatives. But, preservatives don't affect your weight loss. Just your detox. I will have to see if I can find some of those. Thanks!

You have to make sure to follow the directions on the package - rinse the noodles well, then boil them. I mixed them together with a tomato and garlic sauce and it was yummy.

I thought they were the most godawfulvile smelling and tasting things. Some people do love them though. I would recommend only using a very very flavorful aromatic sauce.

I've heard some pretty negative things about them, lol. I personally haven't had the courage to try them. I'd rather just eat pasta Have you tried the brown rice pasta? It's really good, and it's just brown rice.

Gotta say, I think I would like these. I eat some things that others view as pretty weird (tofu type stuff).

We don't have a central market - has anyone seen them anywhere else? We have krogers, farm fresh, etc. I'll try them if I can find them!
