Fruit juices on phase 1
Are these allowed? I just started fat smash 3 days ago (so far so good) and was wondering if these were allowed. I don't have the book yet, but thought I'd start anyway. I know that fruit is allowed, but can you have pure fruit juices (with no added sugar)?

As far as I know... you can only have fresh squeezed juices. (Orange, lemon.. etc.) I know that some of the ladies have purchased the pure juices. So... I don't think it would hurt. Maybe someone else has an opinion...? Detox is about staying away from preservatives.. so you may want to watch out for those if you buy pure juice. Good luck to you! Sherry |
Thanks for your help! I'll try not to drink too much, but I'll go crazy if I can only survive on water! I love this 'diet'. Lots of yummy food. I don't even miss meat or alcohol (yet). The scale moving in the right direction too! Fabulous! ;)

You can also have 2 cups herbal tea per day in Phase I - this is straight from the book which is on my lap as I type. Can also have 2 cups of low-fat or soy milk. Also on the allowed for phase I - brown rice- 2 cups cooked per day. Also 6 oz low-fat yogurt (2x/day), oatmeal (cooked) - 1 cup/day.
