This is a WW recipe that I modified for Phase 1
About 1 c dry lentils, rinsed
1/2 c uncooked brown rice
2 c shredded carrots
3 c water
1 packet onion soup mix-reduced sodium ( I used onion powder,celery salt and dried mince onions in its place)
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp olive oil (optional-I did not add)
Rinse lentils
Place all ingrediants in large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is done about 20 mins.
This is absolutely awesome...soooo yummy!!!
