I wasn't sure whether to post this on a thread or not so I just started one. Hope that's okay.

First-please pray for my DS. This is my DH's son from a previous marriage but he's my son, too, you know what I mean? Anyway, he's bipolar and schizophrenic. Saturday morning, he threatened to kill himself. He didn't but he did cut himself some. This young man needs salvation first off. And he needs to find meds that work for him. His lithium makes him hyper and unable to sleep so he skips them. He was in a hospital until Tuesday evening. We have given him some info on private care and encouraged him to continue seeking a doctor's care. But, he's an adult so that, along with praying, is the best we can do. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

Second-It looks like God is working things out for my oldest (16) Dd and me to go on a mission trip in April, 2006. We are both very excited! We've been praying about this for over a year. We'd planned on going in Sept. 2005 but it fell on a weekend that we already had something scheduled. So, I started praying that the Lord would give us a trip that wasn't during the summer (she's already packed during the summer) but that wouldn't make her miss school. Well, guess what-the April, 2006 trip to Honduras is scheduled the week of her school's spring break! God is good! Plus, the people organizing it are only about 40 minutes away so attending the required meetings shouldn't be a problem. Did I mention that we're both excited! :D I'm contacting the team captains today to send us a start up package w/info about support letters, requirements for the trip, etc. We have trusted God to give us a date and local organizers so we're trusting Him for the funds. If it's not meant to be, pray that God will close the doors for us. I do not want to be outside God's will, no matter what. Thank you so much. I'll be glad to contact anyone who would like to recieve updates on these situations. I appreciate you being here. Oh, we'll be traveling with the Baptist Medical and Dental Missions organization. Woo-hoo. I'm soooo excited!
