CONGRATUATIONS Angie and Gary. How wonderful for your new grandaughter and Gary to share their birthday. Out of 27 grandchildren, I was the one born on my grandmother's birthday and to this day I still think I was her favorite. I pray they will have many happy times together.:)

Angie here:
Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and words of encouragement. It's nice to know we have so many people out there praying for Gary. The docs are starting to remove some of the tubes. Unfortunately, he has developed a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract. From what they said, it could have been caused by the anitbiotics they gave him, or the albumin, or some other medication, or the surgery itself. Apparently, this type of infection is quite common in hospitals. His doctor assured me they were doing everything to get rid of the infection and he would probably be in the hospital at least 5 more days. |
Keeping Gary in prayer, that this infection be stopped and healing take place.God is able .

Sending prayers for Gary and also for you Angie. I continue to think good thoughts and send prayers for all of you.

Will continue prayers for Gary's healing of the infection and a quick recovery. Angie, I've walked your part in this myself and know what you are going through... the faith, tears, fears and desire to hold on to and help you hubby all you can. You pray a lot more during this time. God is good and He never leaves us. I pray God will give you the peace and the strength that you need during this time to be all He wants you to be at this time for Gary, your family and yoursef. Be sure to take time for yourself especially your "spiritual" time. That is what gets you through and under girds you with God's strength. God loves you and Gary and y'all are not alone. God bless you and your family. Thanks for keeping us updated. We love y'all.

I had posted a few weeks ago about my pathology report coming back cancer-free (whoo hooo!) and I am seeing a fertility specialist at the end of March.
I had stopped my meds when the report came in (at my dr's direction) but 2 weeks after stopping, I started getting the same symptoms I had prior to taking the meds for 6 months. My doctor told me to get back on my medication until I see the fertility specialist and see what he says. I asked her if this was normal and she said because my case is unique, there is really no way to know what is "normal". She didn't sound alarmed so I am trying not be either. I'm nervous, a bit sad and scared. I keep praying to God that I am going to be ok and hopefully be able to conceive and carry a baby real soon. I haven't told anyone but my husband that I am back on my medication. I feel like this has been so many ups and downs over the last 6-7 months, I don't want to disappoint my family. May I ask that you all include me in your prayers as I am overwhelmed with all of this and stress is the last thing I need to contribute to my weightloss efforts or create any hormones to feed the cancer cells. Thank you all so much. You have no idea what peace this forum has brought me since I found all of you. |
Elvislover Prays continue for you. I pray God will give you peace, healing and the child you so desire.
Got text from oldest son this morning. The foot he thought he had sprained last work is actually broke. He has to wear a boot for 4 to 6 weeks. I don't know what this does to his work as he is a truck driver and doesn't get paid if he doesn't work. Please pray for a quick healing. Thanks everyone. |
