Some mebers of the congregation are quite upset over this, understandably so. The pastor is going to have a specal meeting on depression and suicide. One line realy stood out it in her email "You don't have to bear the pain alone." That is so true, and we all have to bear pain at some point, not necessarily as tragic as this, but we do have to face sadness of some sort, but we have the everlasting arms to lean on.

So glad that your pastor is going to do a sermon on depression and suicide -- people need to know that "SUICIDE IS NOT A SOLUTION" for their problems; and that they can come to their "Church Family" for love, prayers, encouragement, help, and support ... :hug:

KAREN ~ what a touching story -- I gasped too, becuz we were all praying for those people at the time. I have no doubt that GOD would send angels to help people during such storms ... :angel:

Prayer request for me ,Danielle, I left my boyfriend of 2yrs , we were living together unmarried and the relationship had more downs then ups. I packed on the pounds through emotional eating and every time I tried to do better I would feel so oppressed like a heaviness on me that wont let me do better.

Here I am again asking for more prayers. This was a message from my second born grandson. I know this man he is talking about and he is evil... When my son and their mother split years ago and then she married him, he convinced her to let him adopt both boys. He doesn't care about them it was just a matter of having control. They never even tried to get in touch with us or my son to let us know that this was happening (other than a notice in the newspaper) And this was because he wouldn't let her talk to us or see our grandchildren. So now this is happening and I and they will appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. Thanks again so much

"Ok.....Everybody who reads this i need your help, some of you know that i whent to court yesterday about a custody battle,well to shorten it mt step dad won. If i cant change the judges mind then i have to move to Denver at his house by the Monday we get back to school. Now this man i used to call father has abused me, threatened me, given me scars, mentaly abused me, and sometimes it whent to the extent that i was scared for my life. And all of you who know me know that im a generaly good person. This man is trying to rip me from my family my home my freinds and everything i hold close to me. I am in a dire situation. What i need is some advice anything will help. I am going to start a page so that we can get some sort of a petition going or something so we can change the judges motion. I cant stress enoupgh how bad me and my lil brother do not want to live up their. I also have a 6 year old brother that i would have to leave in order to stay in denver. My family needs you, i need you, please if i ever needed my freinds and just help in general this would be the time....PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!"
