Hello! I'm Katie, Just thought I'd drop by and say hello!
This is so neat that we have a Christian group here! I've never been on a forum where faith has it's own boards! :D

Anyway, just wanted to stop by.

Blessings!

:welcome3: Katie,
I'm new also, my friend Carol told me about this forum and although I've never done any forums before and was a little apprehensive I now think this will be a good place to find new friends and great support. Merry Christmas,
Blessings

Hey you, girlfriend,
I'm ready!! Thanks for the post! Kids can arrive any time. :cheer2:

Just had a nice salad for lunch and tasted the Lasagna. Delicious! Will eat around 4:30. Kinda early, but that leaves time for kids to get home early and wrap last minute presents.

:woohoo: Congratulations on the loss! :woohoo: You had a :goodscale: today!

We did something different this year. ;) We put labels on the presents, but no names. That way the girls can't come :running: full speed ahead over to the tree and look for their names on the packages.

Down size is..... we have to keep going over the presents and telling ourselves what's in each package cause we can't remember who got what.:dizzy:  To funny!

Ahhh....recipe for the pumpkin custard? ::?::?: Do I have that one, or do you use full fat? Trying to use less fat if I can. Yeast rolls sound good too! Yum

I think most of us are all ready for the big day!!

Yes, Let's remember "The Reason for the Season"!!

Carol

:balloons:HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~ JESUS!:balloons:

Just poppin' by to wish you all a ...
:tree:MERRYCHRISTMAS! :tree:

We had a very busy day; but I think we are ready. I made a pumpkin pie and a pumpkin custard; just used the same recipe as for the pie, but subbed sweetener (11 packets) for the brown sugar in the recipe. I just spray the pie dish; sprinkle with wheat flour and pour the filling in. Baked it with the other pie. Have my veggies and dressing base ready in containers in the fridge; just have to do potatoes tomorrow. Gifts are all wrapped; but will do the stockings just before bed. We have 2 extra guests coming tomorrow so that should be nice. My poor feet are sore but I felt much better today; just glad that we have everything ready ...

:wreath: May GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY with His PEACE & JOY as we celebrate the coming of our LORD & SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST ... :wreath:

Wishing each of you a blessed Christmas!

I make a Weight watchers pumpkin mousse- very yummy. 1 small can of pumpkin, mixed with one small box of sugar free vanilla pudding mix, made as described on the box. Add cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. Yum!!!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone. My son will be flying in tomorrow night (if the weather lets him) He and his wife are having troubles and she is back in Colorado with the kids-- left him in Florida with no place to stay and no job. He had 2 full time jobs but when business didn't pick up like they thought, he was the first one let go. I was so afraid this move to Florida wasn't a good thing but had to let them learn on their own. So hard on Mom though!! I hope he gets this Florida deal out of his system and decides to settle down and get on his feet right here. I couldn't leave him alone in Florida over Christmas but I can't keep picking up his pieces either. We never stop worrying.

Enjoy your Holiday with your family.

@Cajungirl64 Thanks! you'll have fun on forums. I used to be on forums for one of the actors I like before he had major problems with it and had to shut it down pretty much. It's fun to meet online buddies!

I didn't know it but one of my good friends signed up for the forums, too! Just found out today! Hopefully she'll find me on here. LOL

Guess I should help mum wrap my cousins' gifts. LOL TTYL!

Thank you Ginny,
This sounds delish! Make pudding as directed and add the can of pumpkin? Just making sure I have directions correct.

Oh my, I guess I'd better hit the sack, gettin' kinda late.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

It's a stormy day here in Winnipeg. I'm so happy that family that was coming for the holidays have made it safely. We had a lovely dinner last night. I actually controlled myself quite well. We opened gifts last night also. I got a lovely gold chain from DH. Today we celebrate Jesus' birth and have our turkey dinner. Can't wait.

I just wanted to wish all of you the best of the season and more of the same for 2010.
