Prayer for Family Healing Event
 

Could I have prayer for my family. We are going to be starting an ancient Paths seminar. I have been through it before, but my son and DH have not. DS is a little too young for it still.

Basically it is identifying lies of satan in your life. Like "I am not good enough" " I will never make my parents proud" etc. All lies of the enemy, In this seminar you learn to identify those lies, cast them out, and fill the holes in your heart with promises of blessings.

We will be going through this on the 29-30 of January, and then the next three months training to lead this and bringing the seminar to our entire community.

Like I said I went through this before, at our Women's seminar and was so blessed. I was able to cast out the lies of abandonment when I was a child--and the responsibility for my mothers death---somehow my brain told me I was responsible for her breast cancer ----pretty sad.

Anyway I would appreciate prayer for my family, we really need it, Paul Annette and Joseph---and Pray for Mikaela that she does not get her feelings hurt at being left out of this event:)

I use that technique all the time, on my own; the Lord showed this to me a few years back. I start journaling all the positive promises in his Word (the bible); and also memorizing some of them, so that whenever I thought something negative about myself OR someone else was being critical just to be mean, I would counteract those thoughts in my head with positive verses from GOD's Word. It really works well; but you have to practice it a while, like you said. As time goes on, it becomes like a new good habit.
