:wave: JUST checkin' in tonight; started out with rain but ended up with some sunshine this afternoon. We went out shopping for a bit then came home and washed our car by hand: hope that counts for a good exercise.

Plus we went for a small walk after dinner as well and it was nice and cool. The temps have dropped a bit and they are forecasting *** but we are hoping they are sadly mistaken. Even if it did, wouldn't likely stay too long anyways.

Glad to see everyone is doing so well. My flu is finally going away; felt much better the last couple of days. Be glad when it's gone completely as I have been sleeping alot; but I think that has been helping me.

ROSEBUD76 ~ CONGRATS: that's quite a drop there. All that yard work is paying off, I'm sure.

We had our own version of fish & chips tonight with veggy, coleslaw, tomatoes, and cukes (lightly breaded fish and baked fries). A nice light dinner after a busy and tiring day.

I'm having a laid-back weekend, which has been delightful. Cleaning and church activities mostly. The weather has turned cold again, so I'm not motivated to do much outside.

Evening everyone! Thanks for the welcome! I have been married for almost 10 yrs, 3 kids ages 11,7 & 4. I grew up in a conservative christian home. Really began living for Jesus when my folks split up when I was 16. Long story short I learned that even if I could not count on my earthly father my heavenly one would never leave me! Hubby became a christian in his early teens(non christian family). I stay at home with the kids and provide home child care for 3 others. We have a dog, 2 cats and a squacky bird. We biked to church today discovered its a 6 km round trip! The kids did a great job! I am looking forward to many new challenges such as TBL and EZmoneys 5ks! Guess that is it for the night!

Welcome JULIA! Good to have you here...imagine that a 5K+ to church! Same for Angie and I...we have walked it before....6 miles round trip.

A quick prayer request ~ Some of you may have heard about a man that was killed by a great white shark on Friday. It happened near us. We have a couple of friends at church that were friends of his...asking for prayers for the man's family and friends.

Good evening everyone! Thank you so much for the kind words. It's really nice to be down 11.5 I really can't wait to see the clothes fitting a whole lot better. Aunt Flo (aka TOM) came to visit today, so I'm kinda worried about the scale, but at least it's in the middle of my "week" for my WI, I really kinda like weighing in on Thursdays, that way if I don't follow plan to well on the weekend, at least i've got 4 days to make it up.

This weekend has been VERY long a busy for me. Friday night we had a b-day party at the church for two of our youth. DH set up the volley ball net and we played about 7 games. I played 6 of those. It was great!!! We were both really sore the next morning. My parents came down to visit saturday and mom and i went and got mani's. that was really nice. and then that night we had a sunday school social and we played about 5 games of volley ball. and then today i played around on one game. the kids were more interested in b-ball and frisbee instead. lol

i'm ready to start this week. I'm hosting my sister-in-law's baby shower on saturday. mom is coming to visit again and we are going to a Casting Crowns concert that night.

Wow! the last week or so has flown by and I have been so busy at work lots of staff out sick, getting overtime which is always nice, except tiring!

Rosebud 76- Casting crowns is great, you will enjoy we took youth group to colledge weekend at Liberty University in Lynchburg,VA Jerry Falwell's university, it is awesome, very very nice, youth very impressed, and considering committing to that University. Counting- Luv casting crowns too, awesome show.
E.Z.- Your working too hard, guy voice of experience. DIL cheerleader I have a niece that luvs cheering, she cheered at Cedarville, not pro, but would luv it, studying law.

I'm having a good day except my bike I have been trying to order for a week and a half just isn't working out. I am on my 5th vendor. Sometimes I really dislike Internet shopping. Seems no one wants to honor the price they posted. Or, even though they say they have it in stock, they don't - GRRRR.

But, in the scheme of things, this is a pretty minor annoyance. So, I'm counting my blessings and sending some your way. Hope you have a blessed day :D

GARY ~ prayer for that man's family & friends already done; and will pray that shark will leave the area and go back out to sea where he belongs. NIKO is doing great; he's a man's dog for sure: he's a lab mix and a big ball of fur to handle (he kinda gets ruff with us ~ LOL). DH is his buddy alright and DH loves that, you can tell by his big :D, even though he tries to hide it! ;)

COUNTING ~ prayers you find the bike you want at a good price too; GOD cares about everything, big and small ...

*PRAYER REQUEST* ~ my friend, PIERRETTE, called today and has been diagnosed with a Cyst on her Ovaries; the specialist wants to remove it and says if they have to, will also do a hysterectomy (but only if needed). My friend was hoping that it would go away; but so far, it's still there and about 7 cm in size. They tested and say that it is not cancerous, but they are just concerned about its size and want to remove it before it gets any bigger.

We are taking her to see the specialist again on May 12 to our nearest city. She would appreciate prayers. I told her we would pray to cover all bases: for healing and if need be, pray her through surgery, if it goes that way. She is a little concerned about the surgery I think becuz of previous blood clot problems and such, which is understandable. Anyways, we would appreciate prayers for my long-time friend: thanks so much!!!

Had a nice day; we had lean pork steak with brown rice and leftover roasted veggies like butternut squash, carrots et al ... yummy dinner!!! Tomorrow we are going to check out our lot, to make sure it's still there ~ LOL! Should be a full day; hope we have nice weather like today. Thank you. Woke up feeling right as rain this morning. Have no idea what was wrong but it is gone now thank heavens. Am a bit tired and a bit worn down but I am sure if that will be gone tomorrow. Will keep your friend in my prayers. Your dinner sounds great.

I'm doing well. Still haven't heard from the place I ordered my bike from. I think God is teaching me patience with this one. Looks like I am a slow study and need an extra dose ;)

I tried a new DVD workout today and I am a bit sore - which I'm thinking is a GOOD thing. I took a warm shower and I am feeling a bit better. I think a glass of red wine will help as well ;)

Hi all!

Missed chatting last few days, crazy here! I still don't know anything back from my tests, they called to tell me they couldn't tell me anything and I'll have to come back for more tests but the dr. wants to talk to me first and she's supposed to call me tomorrow. Problem is tomorrow I go to the jail to pray and do devotions with the women there and I'm not skipping out on them. Then I have to go for a loan for Big DS's car that I'm buying him to go off to college in and thats a priority so who know when I'll get to the bottom of this mess.

Counting, I know what you mean, it took me several weeks of trying to get my bike, the first one I ordered was out of stock and they didn't know if it would ever be back in, what?, why is it still being put on the sale site then? The next one I ordered took way longer to get here than it should have then it was defective and I had to wait for a replacement. Patience, oh yeah, God wants me to get some.

Weigh in day!! I stayed the same again. I've been struggling a bit with my eating and am glad that I haven't gained. With the nice weather finally here I have been getting out in my yard. We're building a garage this spring and there's lots of prep work to do. This week I'm trimming vines and bushes before they start budding and also am moving a flower bed that wil be in the way of the garage.

Not sure where to post...I'm new to the site...I've been having a problem with food for a while now. The addictions I have had in the past keep swapping and changing into something else...when its not chemical then its food. I go through a vicious cycle of binging and telling myself tomorrow i will start on a diet (or rather eating healthy) but i end up binging and never changing the way I eat....I don't know where to start...I don't know how to reprogram these habits!! Help!
