It's Monday!
Well, I made it through another weekend regarding my eating plan and exercise! On Sat. I ate 1554 cals. (below my weekend range of 1600) and on Sunday I ate 1253 cals. I exercised to Denise Austin's Upper Body Workout both days. (One of these days I'll be able to hop on that treadmill again.) Can you believe it's less than 2 weeks until Easter! I thank God and His Son, Jesus for giving me strength. Have a great day, everyone! Hugs, Dena :) |
Happy Tuesday Morning!
I'll have to make this brief, because the cable guy is coming this morning. Yesterday I ate 1366 cals. and exercised to Denise Austin's upper body workout in the morning. Then I went on the treadmill for 15 minutes after dinner. :cp: Unfortunately, that's all my knee would allow. :( I hope everyone has a great day! :) :) Hugs, Dena :) |
Hello Everyone!
Sorry it's been about a week since I posted, but I am having major internet problems, since I changed my internet service... to a better one. :lol: I'm beginning to wonder why I changed. And now that I have my new phone number and internet together, they both don't work correctly. :dizzy: Anyway, I've been doing great... sticking to my calorie range and exercising everyday! :dancer: Easter is one week away. Can you believe it?! I certainly hope eating right and exercising everyday becomes a habit. :crossed: Good luck to everyone and have a great day! Hugs, Dena :) |
You know what's good about keeping strong for a long time? I mean eating correctly... You get to learn more about yourself and others! I realize that whenever I'm hungry right after eating a meal, it's usually an emotional issue. It's really about something else... maybe I wasn't respected by customer service or maybe the internet guy was a jerk. :lol: Whatever the issue is... I've come to realize that their harsh words are really a cover up for their stupidity about their job, their insecurity about themselves and their lack of control in their life. After I analyze what's really going on and drink some water or take a breath, I find I'm not hungry afterall. I'm so grateful God is teaching me to start looking outside of myself.

Can you believe there's only 3 days until Easter?! This hasn't been the easiest 6 weeks... actually it seems longer than that... but I worked hard at it and I'm pretty proud of myself! I stuck with it! Eating less than 1400 cals during the week and less than 1600 on weekends. And I exercised every day!! (And I wasn't always up to it.) I've had a sore knee and I didn't feel that great at times and I really had to figure out how to find the time to exercise. Sometimes I exercised at night before bed. But I made a commitment, and I plan to stick to it. That's the least I can do to thank Jesus.

Today is Good Friday.
Yesterday I ate 1380 cals, got on the treadmill for 47 minutes and did Body Flex for my arms. I woke up this morning and I couldn't even lift my arms. That must have been some workout! :lol: I learned something new about myself... If I watch the news on TV while eating, I tend to eat faster... because the news can be upsetting to me.
