Bosu Ball
I was just wondering if any of you have ever used a bosu ball. I saw a workout on tv that used one and it looked so fun. The only thing is that they cost about 100 dollars so I would like some input before I buy one. It looks really fun and not all that hard. I just think it would be nice to mix it up a bit. Anyone who has tried it I would love to hear what you think.:carrot:

I used one in a class I took at my (former) health club. It's a lot of fun but WAY harder to do than it looks at first. I found it worked everything, abs, legs, even arms as I swung them wildly trying to keep my balance!
I said "former" health club because I've since quit the club. Instead, we've set up a home gym in our basement. Hadn't considered putting in a bosu ball, but now you've got me thinking... When you purchase one for home use, does it come with a workout video you can work along with? |
It does come with a video. I also watch a show on FIT Tv called All Star Workouts and they have a fun workout with the Bosu. I think I may give it a try. Thanks for responding

There are new Bosu "sports" that are better for shorter people and cheaper, you might want to go that route.
