Last year i gained about 30 lbs and i recently lost 10 but my sides and my thighs are still flabby! Is there any exercises that would help get rid of that?
Everything I've read, and my own experience, tells me that you cannot spot reduce. There are exercises that will strengthen your muscles and make them more firm, but if it's flab you need to lose the only way to do that is by cleaning up your diet and doing cardio.
Yup, it's fat. Most of us have an area that seems to be most reluctant to let go of the fat. Mine is belly fat and a handful on the inside of each thigh just above my knee. But it'll go. Just keep losing and check in with the Ladies Who Lift they're the pro's at fat reduction.
Are you doing any strength training? That really helps to firm up. I do oblique crunches on a swiss ball and side crunches on this machine at the gym and I definitely feel those muscles. Same as everyone said though, you can't control where you lose the fat.
