What is your favorite music to move to?

• O.K. I am moving everyday now. I walk for 30 minutes as well as doing strength training at the gym. I am getting tired of all the music I have and need some ideas.

If there was only one song you could listen to what would it be? Whatmusic makes you want to move and get up and get going?

I need some inspiration and ideas! Help please!
• I don't have one specific song, but I LOVE techno an I also a huge anime soundtrack fan and also J-pop. You can find some tunes at http://gendou.com/
I think they have samples of the music so you can try it out.
I also like some German music, but I like a lot of good beats in my music and high energy stuff.
• I love to listen to Madonna's new song "Hang up" and the song from Lindsey Lohan "teenage drama queen" it's awesome. Also Keith Urban's CD's
• I know I'm really in the minority on this one, but I love listening to any country cd's when I work out....I'm not really the kind who needs the music to be upbeat when I work out. Weird, I know....LOL One suggestion I can make is to go to your local library and check out the Cd's there! I recently found this out, and have found several CD's there that I never got around to buying.
• Most of my workout music is from OC Remix which is a collection of video game remixes. I also have a lot of power metal on my workout playlist, it really pumps me up!
• Athena, I'm with you on the country! I have a lot in my MP3 player, and I just queue enough for the time I'm exercising. A couple of slower songs to warm up, some lively ones for the actual workout, and a couple more slow ones to cool down. Different songs each day keeps things fresh.
• Feel Good by Gorillaz. My current fave.
• I've been meaning to post about this too. Don't think I am crazy but the Agustus Gloop song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (new one 2005) is just awesome to work out to.
My MP3 playlist

Agustus Gloop Charlie and Chocolate Factory Soundtrack
Cecilia Simon and Garfunkle
Low Rider War
Sweet Home Alabama Lynard Skynard
Walkin in Memphis Marc Cohn
Diggin up Bones Randy Travis
Pretty Woman Roy Orbison
Hot Child in the City Nick Gilder
• Black Eyed Peas....not the type of music I would typically listen to but I love it for working out. It has a good beat and a lot of the lyrics are entertaining enough to make me smile.
• To whomever (sorry, can't remember) mentioned Feel Good, Inc by Gorillaz, try their song DARE. Best shake yer booty song ever!

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in here and say about the ocremix.org site, and the gendou.com sites, those both look great, and I can't wait to get home tonight and check them both out.

And just some of my favorite workout music:

DARE and a whole lot of other Gorillaz
Simple and Clean (The Planet B Remix) by Utada Hikaru
Rafiki by Zap Mama
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta by Geto Boys

Lots more, but can't think of any more right now.
• Thanks for the Gorillaz song suggestion. I'm the one that mentioned them earlier. I'll find it on i-tunes and have a listen. : )
