Everyone is welcome to join! If you have joined in the past but have not entered any activity for a while, don't worry. You're still in the program unless you removed yourself. It's never too late to start up again!


** Please note:

If you are in the Active Lifestyles Program, then you can only earn Active Lifestyle Awards (I won about four of them and never figured that out on my own. I thought after I got enough of them, I'd start working towards my first Bronze. But nope.) If you are in the Active Lifestyles Program and switch over to the Presidential Performance Program, you will be retroactively awarded a Metal award, but it will not show up on the list as an "earned" reward until you actually earn a reward while in that program. For example, I was awarded a President's Champions - Bronze when I switched to the Presidential Performance Program in December-05, but for the January-06 recap I was showing as still having an Active Lifestyles award. When you switch to the Presidential Performance Program, you no longer earn stars for daily activity, and your progress is expressed as a percentage of how far you have earned towards your next medal.

If you are in the Presidential Performance Program, there is a 750 daily cap on the number of points it will count towards your goal. From what I understand, if you go to the Advanced Performance Presidential Champions Program, all your points count, but it takes more of them to earn a medal.

Thanks Tealeaf for doing this! The Presidential Fitness Challenge has been an inspiration for me these last couple months. I need only fill 2.5 more stars and I'll have the whole 6 completed stars thing (is that the Active Lifestyle?). Anyways, some of these ladies are truly inspiring! I already feel a difference, and love logging my activity after I do it.

I just found this thread today, and I tried to sign at president's challenge, but no matter how I change my computer settings, it tells me my cookies are not enabled, and I know they are because I changed them. I tried just adding that particular site to the list that I will accept cookies from, and I tried lowering my cookie settings one setting at a time, and niether worked, I still get the same message. I was unable to find a help section for registration help, so I thought I would ask here and see if anyone has encountered this problem. I have an external firewall, but I would have thought if that was the problem it would have said that was the problem rather than telling me cookies were not enabled. Any ideas?

And I noticed the typo after I posted but it won't let me fix the title...oops

I switched browsers and it worked so....

Glad that you found a work around for the problem, honiangel. I have no idea how to fix the cookie problem, but as long as you found a way all is good.

And to the others, you're welcome. Thank you for making me feel appreciated! I'm just glad that other people are finding the program as useful as I have.
