Thanks Rhonda, I was thinking of buying the complete TransFirmer kit and if I need to I'll buy my own step. After what I have read here I'm excited to start it. I do go to the gym, but I think this would be great to change things up a bit (or on those cold snowy nights when I just don't feel like leaving ths house :D ) And changes after two weeks! Sounds great to me. Thanks again.

For me it doesn't matter (that I've noticed) if I workout once or twice a day. You have to do what you feel is right for you :) I also agree with luvaracer...be sure to eat those activity points that you've earned.

Does anyone use a step from a sporting goods store? Thanks in advance.

In the beginning when I got my very first firm workouts I did not have the fanny lifter. I used a regular step. My best friend gave me my transfirmer system as a gift, and I do use it...and I love it. I've had no problems with it at all.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments :D

I have been doing step routines for years. I have both the reebok original step and have just bought the transformer series and the bench. I do not think that the bench is a piece of "junk". It goes together very easily and you do need it to do any of the BBS series and the transformer series. I tried using the reebok step for it and it is not safe enough ( shifted when I was trying to do the incline step) I follow the monthly routines they have on their website and they alternate between sculpting videos, cardio videos and cardio/sculpting videos with two days rest each week. On active rest days I walk on the treadmill or walk outside. I really enjoy the firm series tapes and feel that they are allowing me to lose inches!

I agree on the inches lost thing.. i posted elsewhere, but I have lost 4.25 inches in 18 days! I am happy with that. We'll see how the weigh-in goes tonight, but that 14" step is a killer for those lunges and leg work!

I do a firm video 5 days a week and I LOVE them. IMHO the best out there. I just use a "regular" step I got at Walmart and do plain squats in place of the leg presses.
