Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

    I am a 31 year old mother of three. I have tried numerous diets without any real success. When I was younger I used to try to eat everything in site in hopes of gaining weight because I thought that I was too skinny. I have grown to really love food. Now, 15 years, 3 kids, and 55 pounds later, it is a hard habit to break.

    I have reached the point where I refuse to live like this no more. I believe that you really have to want it bad enough in order to succeed. This site has alot of info and motivation that I can benefit from. I do not plan to follow a restrictive diet.

    I am going to:
    Dring @ least 8 glasses of water per day (No soda/juice/alcohol)
    Limit my portions
    Eat less fattening foods (No fast food @ all, limit red meat)
    Exercise everyday! (Cardio & Toning)


    I think this will work for me. Of course I will log on daily to read your motivating logs and update my sucess. If anyone has any tips that have worked for them, please feel free to share. Thanks!!
