Best cardio exercise to burn fat
hey guys, currently i weight 205 and im 23... as of now my typical gym visit consists of 30 mins on the eliptical trainer and about 30 minutes of weight lifting 5/6 times per week. what does everyone think the best cardio/workout activity is for a quick and healthy weight loss?

In my experience the best cardio for rapid healthy weight loss is spinning or doing a 30/30 running program 30 sec run 30 sec walk for 30 minutes 5 days a week. Good luck!:carrot:

The best exercise to burn calories is running, but that being said, the best exercise really is the one that you enjoy doing. If you have fun and are satisfied, it will feel less like work and it will become part of your life.
If you're using the elliptical, make sure you increase the resistance as you get more fit, it's not a work out if you're not sweating. If you can hold a conversation for the entire workout, you're not working hard enough, you should feel an increase in your heartrate and difficulty breathing. My tip is to find an activity that you enjoy and then the gym doesn't feel like a chore, it's just training to help you perform in your sport. I personally love martial arts, it's a fantastic workout and a good companion to weightloss. Good luck! |
For me, running and Spinning seem to get my heart rate highest and burn the most calories. I use the elliptical other days, but have to be sure that I'm working hard enough, because I'm always tempted to "coast" on it.
