Running in the rain?
 

Hi all!
Quick question for the excercise thread...what do you wear running when it is raining outside? I am finally sucking it up and actually buying some rain gear so that I can run even on drizzly days. Any advice?

Depends on the temperature, if its 55F or below, I'll wear a shell jacket with a coolmax t-shirt and a hat (keeps the rain out of the eyes).... If it's warmer I'll just wear cool-max (dryfit etc) stuff...

I do the exact same thing as Ali.... Make sure the rain wear you decide on is breathable material as well as water resistant or water proof...You'll need to go to a specialty store...

I just got a patagonia shell on ebay, for pretty cheap since its high quality. And I have to say, I have already gotten my use of it, its been raining a lot, I layer under it if its really cold. I havn't been running long so I'm not sure about when its raining and warmer. I actually found I push my self harder to get my jog over with and out of the rain so its a good workout.
