I did a 2mi. watp tape today. July miles = 24. Guess I won't make my goal this month but I'll try again next time. I haven't walked for almost 3 weeks because I was having lower back problems. I decided to let myself rest and then I went to the dr. who checked me out and said that something in the lower back/hip area was out of whack. He referred me to one of his partners who has a background in osteopathic medicine. She did some manipulating of the muscles back there and showed me a couple of exercises to do. She also told me to wait a couple of days to exercise. I have been feeling great -- no more back pain. YIPEE!!! I hope you all are doing fine. I have waked 29.5 miles in July not counting today. My goal is 32 miles. I did swim twice for 45 minutes each time on top of walking and I have started some weight lifting too! Macdeez, Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it. No, I haven't taken my measurements but I will because I have noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit. I have gone down a pant size and I'm thrilled about that! I will keep better track of what I am taking in also because I know I need to be eating fewer calories.
