Default Waterproof heart rate monitors?

i find that with my ever expanding list of injuries that i'm swimming more. although my ankles are getting back into the habbit of running my shins and knees are still stunned lol. so i'm only manageing about 2.5miles running before the pain gets to much to put up with and i hit the pool now i'm not a fast swimmer and don't swim correctly (in a technical sense) but i plod along with the breast stroke for the min and normally knock out about 50 lengths (20m pool) which is 1km. its a confortable speed stretches out and works my knackered shoulders but i want a waterproof heart rate monitor so i can check my intensity levels

The Polar M and S Series claim to be water resistant to 50 meters and waterproof. Do a google search on "heart rate monitors" +waterproof and you'll get a variety of sites selling them and reviewing them. I didn't do a search for UK sites, but I'm sure there are sources there. You can also find them on ebay.
