Delivering pizza a exercise?
Hello ... my name is Vanessa and this is my first thread. I am , 33 , 194 and on a low carb diet. I just started doing morning workouts with Denise Austin and it gets me going. I was wondering if you would consider delivering pizzas a workout. Here is basically what I do in a day.
Slow day - 5 hour day ... which I seldom work Deliver pizzas to homes ... sometimes stairs ... every 20 minutes. Busy day - 12 hour shift ... which is what I usally work on Thur, Fri. Sat. Sun. , Deliver pizzas every 10 minutes a lot of stairs. It is a lot of work but it is not an ongoing exercise ... I guess I just wanted to know if it is considered an exercise at all. Any response would help. :) |
I would definitely count it. Many people talk about trying to incorporate exercise into a day by parking farther away, taking the stairs, etc. Sounds like to me your job is doing this for you. Maybe consider a pedometer that way you can see exactly how much work you are doing delivering the pizzas. As long as your not eating them. LOL!

Thank you skinnyjeans for your reply. That is a good idea about the pedometer. I really don't care too much for pizza so I am safe there. It is actually the cheesy bread that is my delicious enemy.

yeah- I'd say count it- and wear a pedometer as skinnyjeans suggested...
I'm one that parks far away and even returns the carts back to the store not the cart return "aisles" in the parking lot... cheesy bread would get to me too! I've been doing Low Carb since October 2004... still having a lot of cravings... |
I would definitely count it too! I count my stairs everytime I have to do laundry as part of my daily activity. Everything adds up and should be counted:D! A pedometer is an awesome idea.
