"no excuses"...
Everyone's so busy sometimes, it's hard to schedule in time for exercise, and easy to find excuses not to do it. This is a thought that has helped me to stick with it:
Just think... There are 24 hours in a day. 30 minutes of exercise only takes up 1/48 of your day!! In reality, it's such a small amount of time to invest into something that is so good for you, that can help you to elongate your life and feel better about yourself, to ease stress and make you more healthy overall! So the next time you think about skipping out "just this once"... remember the recommended minimum of 30 minutes per day is ONLY 1/48 of your day, and that that small investment reaps big rewards! It doesn't seem like such a hard thing to do then! ;) |
WoW! I have never thought of it in those terms but, when you put it like that, it really does seem like such small amount of time for suich great results!

Aaah, I had never put it in those terms either - although I tell myself that if I can find one hour to vaguely play some online game, then I can find one hour to exercise, which is more useful, hehe. 1/48... sure, this seems so logical now :)
