Does anyone do am denise austin?
Hey,
So in my neck of the woods Denise Austin workouts are on Lifetime at 7 and 7:30am. Does anyone do this regularly? Is 1/2 hour of her routine enough (it seemed maybe to easy...) so I did the 2nd 1/2 too. Any comments about her excersize plan in general? Thanks :) |
Yeah, I have done some of her workouts (6am-7am here) and I do think they are good. Sometimes they are too easy or a little boring and I'm not in very good shape. I dont really like how she does something good, like side kicks and punches, and then all of the sudden jumps and hops in the air several times. For me (and I enjoy jogging) that is way too jarring on my joints. I like that she concentrates on a different body part every day for toning and that she cross trains. Such as one days she does step aerobics, the next aerobics with weights, etc. I am curious, too, to see if others think that her workouts are sufficient.

I should clarify--it was easyish but I am a total klutz and never get any aerobic steps right :dizzy:

I love working out to denise austin at home. I have a lot of her video's. Once you get the hang of one it seems that the others come more easy. But i do beleive that the am workouts are easy, and Im not in the best shape.

When I was living up in Vermont I would catch the Denise Austin workouts and found them to be really fun. I liked that it changes up all the time. Some people find her annoying but I liked it even though my boyfriend would roll his eyes when he heard her say "let's burn some butter!" i love her new personal training DVD as well. maybe i should go dust that off....
