Need To Freaking Work Out!! Ugh!!
I don't know what is wrong with me. I do good and upgrade my gym membership so I can go to any of the gyms in my city (or even the U.S for that matter) on any day of the week. And what happens? -- I end up going a few days a week to not going at all!! Ugh!! I went to the gym on Saturday, and did 45 minutes of cardio burning up 300 cals....but I haven't been there since.
I so want a trainer---someone that would be like a drill sergeant and make me go when I am being lazy or when I want to complain about not wanting to work out after work or drive in the rain to the gym. Also, my bf gave me a coupon to go and workout with him at his gym. I am a little nervous about that cause I will be all smelly and sweaty when I workout---not the most flattering look I want to show my bf. Wish me luck on working out this week. I know that it is something I really need to do. I also need to clean this week before my bf comes to visit my apt for the first time....so fitting in exercise will be a definate challenge!! Yikes!! I have lost about 2-4 pounds since starting my new way of eating on the 1st. Wish me luck!! |
This works rather well for motivating me to do something- I often wake up early in the morning before I even have time to think about not having the motivation to work out. That way, the only real struggle is to get out of bed - once that's accomplished I try to do something productive like a workout video, that way I can relax a little the rest of the day. I know on the Lifetime network they air Denise Austin 30 minute workouts I think around 7 a.m., 5 days a week...This really helps get me going & doing more, because after I'm done with my mini workout I'm left feeling that I should do more & I actually have the motivation to do it.
It could work for you- but everyone is different...or if you have some kind of "light" workout video at home that you can start with in the mornings, that way it kind of pumps you up for going to the gym. Hope this helps! |
