Hi Oers!
Time for a new thread. We are on page two! Juliette-I know what you mean about the pollen. It's really messing with me too:mad:! I hate that! I didn't do my O this morning because I didn't sleep well last night. It's been very warm here lately and my apartment was an oven last night! So hopefully I'll get some O in tonight. Maybe I'll try to do my commuter today too. I'm glad you're still hanging in there. Keep up the great work! Okay everybody else, where are you? Please check in. Even if you aren't doing O right now just check in:)! Keep oeing everybody! We can do this! |
I Know, I know, you've all heard it before!!! but...
I'm starting over Monday!!! Don't laugh!!! I know I say that every couple of months, but my new life starts Monday and I promise MYSELF There WILL be time forOxycise!!!, I sorta enjoyed my spell of working with a temp service, except working for a temp service feels like living in a rent house. There is so much you want to do and could do, but it's really not worth the time or energy, because you will not be around to enjoy the fruits of your labor. With working in my husband(and therefore MINE) business I will have a lot of freedom and my creative juices can flow  anyway I will be able to have a more relaxed schedule. I don't plan to go to work until about 10:00 or 11:00 so I SHOULD be able to work in my O. Also I will have freedom with the computer so I can check in and post during the day. I would'nt dream of doing that at the hospital, because the make a big deal about getting onto "Unauthorized" sites. Well, I guess I've rambled on enough. I guess you can't tell that I'm exciting about my new life huh:rolleyes: |
Hi Everyone!
Where is everyone I should say???? Barbg-I can't tell you how many times I've started over:eek:! I'm with you 100% and I'll do the same on Monday. I'll make a contract with myself to get up and do O every morning. I bet you will work it in easier now with your new schedule. It will be easier when you aren't pressed for time. I've never worked for a temp agency but I've worked at my current job for 15 years. I move around within my job to learn new programs but I've never left the location. I think it's time for a change for me. I've learned just about every job there is to learn here so it's almost time to move on:)! I'm excited for you and your new business. You will love it I'm sure. Thanks for checking in and helping me keep this thread alive. What happened to everyone else? Are you all busy? I know how that is. I've been learning a new job while doing my old job. Very hectic and confusing. I hope you all will find a little time to post to keep me and Barb company:)! Have a good Friday everybody. |
Missed Two Days
Boy has life been busy! Unfortunatly I have had to miss two days of O!
Yesterday was because of a seminar that I had to be up early for and today was because I had to be at work early. I need to learn to get up earlier when that happens!!!! Perhaps, because I have learned to do my O! in the mornings, I can condition myself for an earlier rise... The hard part is that sometimes when I allow myself to stay in bed, I feel like I'm giving myself something that makes me happy (i.e. extra sleep). The hard part is that when I get up, it seems hardly worth it as I rush around like crazy trying to make up for the wasted time (which wasn't spent sleeping anyway!!!) Will try to O! tonight. Won't be able to tomorrow cause I have to leave the house at 6:30am (great way to start the weekend) for a conference, and won't be back till late - BUT, hopefully Sunday will be better! Barb - Congrats on your new life! I think that with the new job and having things more stabilized you will really be able to concentrate on your O! Good Luck! I know you can do it! Rose - Thanks for hanging in here! I love posting on this message board, so I hope at least the three of us can keep it up. Hopefully more people will come in here soon!!!! |
Good Morning!
It is another week, and so far this week is starting off really well! I had some great news this mroning as I stepped on the scale and it was 2 marks closer to the 170 position! How exciting! It is so great to see it going down after two years of watching it go up!!!!
Believe it or not, I actually O!'d on Saturday morning before the long drive to my conference. My rationale was that since O! gives people energy, I would really need it for that day and that long drive. So, I did it! And I think it really helped! Did not O! yesterday. Had to work from 10-6 and then mowed my yard, which I thought was plenty of exercise. Anyway, I've really been enjoying the weightloss. The thing I like most about it, is that besides the O! program, I really haven't been following any program. The idea behind weightloss is essentially that you burn more calories than you take in - and that's what I've been trying to do - eat less and make sure I do my O! and take my dog for walks. The part time job is helping too cause I'm on my feet at least 4 hours a day - and even more on the weekends. I think I'm really gonna do it this time! I'm very excited about the future! Hope you all have a wonderful week! Good luck Barb! I hope you were able to do your O! today! Rose - I hope your job is going well and that you are still doing your O! Take care everybody! |
Old habits die hard!!!
Yea!!! I did my O last night and I slept so good. But then this morning I was fully awake and ready to go at
6:00 AM I was so looking forward to being able to sleep late!!! Oh well, at least I had plenty of time to do my O. I was planning to go to the health club this morning, but I have a lot of things I want to do around the house this morning. The #2 thing (after my O) was to get the computer in the bedroom connected to the internet so I can use it of a morning after I O and not have to go to the den. As you may or maynot be able to tell, It worked. The only problem is I have DSL on the computer in the den and this dialup connection seems sooooo sssssslllllloooooww Oh welll, I'll live. Hope everyone else has a great day and Juilette, I hope to be following you in the downward direction soon! 6; |
Hi everyone!
Barbg-Way to go on getting that O in! I unfortunately did no O over the weekend or this morning. I didn't sleep well so I guess I should try Oeing before bed tonight:)! It's so hard sometimes to get yourself motivated but I know once I start back I'll feel better. Good job Barb I'm glad you're hanging in here with me! Juliette-Did you O this morning? I didn't but I will tonight. I really miss it:(! Then I will do O tomorrow morning. Let's keep each other motivated I really need the push! Congrats on the wonderful weight loss by the way. You must be so happy. Okay what happened to everyone else? I hope you all get time to check in. Claire are you out there?:) Susan R it's been a while since we heard from you please check in:)! I know I'm missing some others that haven't been around in a while. I hope you are still doing O! I need to get back to work. I really do not like Mondays! I hope you all have a great day filled with tons of oxygen. |
Oops
Could have sworn I wrote on here this morning, but then when I checked for replies, I realized I hadn't!
At least I had my message in my head! I did my O! this morning and was so proud of myself. I was again tempted to sleep in and skip it, but I reminded myself of how useless it was to sleep when I could get more energy out of O!. It was the first time I think I've ever been able to talk myself out of sleeping! Didn't O! yesterday though, but I do plan to do it the rest of the week. Hope you all are doing well! Looked like I was down another pound today. Very excited about that! I think working the second job is helping... 4 hours on my feet two evenings a week and then not having a big dinner those nights... Just hope the downward trend continues, regardless. I know O! is the major reason for the help though, if nothing else than keeping my mood up during this stressful time of working so much. Hope you all are doing well! Take care, |
Hi everyone! Hi Rose! Thanks for asking about me! :D
Although I don't always post here, I often read your posts everyone--it's great to see the support you give one another and how great you're all doing! Keep up the good work! I am still doing my Oxycise! and feel soooo much better doing it! I had an awful month last month--a few of us in the family were sick. My seven-year-old son had strep throat twice and we all had to get checked in case one of us was a carrier. Fortunately, none of us were. Anyway, having got off track, I found my PMS was absolutely HORRIBLE! Anyway, I know now how much Oxycise! has helped me in that department! I LOVE OXYCISE!!! Well, I have to head off to Wal-Mart! I'm there so often that I think they're going to give me a blue vest with my name on it! I've got to get my DH some razors as he used his last one this morning and tomorrow he has has a job interview for a promotion! Then I'm off to bed--I'm really tired tonight for some reason! It's been a little too busy, I think! I've just started another course for work and have another one waiting when that one's done! :dz: Take care everyone--I promise to check in again soon! Keep on breathin'! ;) Susan R. |
Hi Oers:wave:!
Susan R-It was so great to see your post this morning:D! Thanks for popping in and saying hi! I'm sorry to hear about your family being sick. It's been a bad year for that everywhere. And boy do I know the PMS feeling. But O really does help in that department. It really helps with the stress too which I need right about now learning a new job and doing my old one at the same time:dizzy:! So I guess I'll keep doing O! and reap all the benefits of all that Oxygen! Thanks again and post whenever you can:)! Juliette-How is it going? I did manage to do my L2 tape this morning and it really is helping. I exercised last night and I slept better too so hopefully I'll be back on track with Oeing regularly soon:)! Barbg-How are you? Check in when you can:)! Claire-Are you still with us?:) |
Another Day - Another O!
Well, today I had to be up early to get into work by 7:30, and while I normally by-pass O! on days like this, I was actually able to get out of bed and still do it! I was so thrilled!!!
Unfortunately, I got interrupted a little bit, so I think I missed a position or two, but still, the fact that I did it was just awesome! So good to hear from you Susan! We've been running a little thin in here lately, but as long as we're doing our O! it really doesn't matter. I'm sure more people will join us in time. Rose - great to hear you did your O! this morning! It is such a wonderful addition to the day, isn't it?? I hope things are going well for you at work - one job is enough, but I can't imagine doing two! Barbg - hope you are hanging in there! Hope your new job is doing well!!! Take care everybody! |
yea!!!
It's Wed and I've O'd every morning and night since Sunday night. I am so proud of myself. It's not so hard when you know you are not on a tight schedule.
About my new job, I think it's going to be great, but it's like starting from square 1 again, and I really have a lot to learn. Neew computer program new responsibilities and having to learn PART NUMBERS yuck! But it will come in time. And it's not everybody that can kiss the boss when they bring him papers to sign:D |
Hi Oers:)!
I'm sorry I've been gone so much:(! I've been so busy at work and I don't have much time now to post so I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone and thank you for sticking in here with me and keeping this thread alive. I'll try to post more later and catch all you up on my soap opera of a life. Keep Oeing:)! |
New to Oxycise
I just started Oxycise yesterday and I'm having some problems with coordinating the breathing method. Am I reading it right and seeing it right that you inhale through your nose? What I can't seem to do is inhale thru my nose and do the smiley thing at the same time..
Do you have any tips for the breathing? Thank you for being here. Catz |
Catz Hi Glad to have you here. In answer to your question practice! that's the only way to get it all together. I know it really feels wierd at first, but after a while you will realize you are doing it right and will be getting thinner and thinner as you breath yourself thin.

Back!
What a crazy life I've been having recently!!! Unfortunately, that craziness has not all been positive and I've put on a few pounds because of it :(
My boyfriend has been debating moving home to Georgia over the past few weeks because his dad is really sick. Sunday he made the final decision and it's gonna be a quick one - he's heading out in two weeks!!! So, of course, dieting is not the first thing on my mind! However, I did O! yesterday morning, and although I really wanted to O! this morning, I had an early meeting to get to and couldn't... but, tomorrow I will be back on track! Kind of funny though - my dedication to this program... When he leaves, he will be taking the TV from the living room, so I was thinking of moving the one from the bedroom out there instead - and then I realized that it's better to do the lying down O! positions on the carpet (bedroom) rather than the hardwood (living room) and so the TV is staying in the bedroom all because of O! Perhaps that was too much information... :spin: Catz! Welcome! Sometimes it is hard to coordinate everything involved with O! - but over time it gets easier. The breathing is the most important part! That's what you should concentrate on first. The smile helps tone your face (once you are able to do it, you will hear people commenting on how much thinner your face looks - it's amazing!). However, even if you aren't able to smile right away, you will at least be toning other parts of your body. Sometimes I look in the mirror when I O! - that may help you! Great to see you back Rose! Sorry you don't have as much time to post, but as long as you are able to stick with it when you can - that's the important part! Barb - Congratulations on your success! I've been meaning to write about it since last week, but I've been so depressed, it's been hard to motivate myself... Take care everybody - and have a great Tuesday! |
Hi Everyone:wave:!
Unfortunately I've been so busy lately that I haven't had any time to post. Not only that but I've fallen off the O wagon and I need some help to get back on. HELP! I feel so bad about not doing O but every morning it's a struggle for me to roll out of bed and get moving. So any words of encouragement would be much appreciated. :) |
mO!tivation
Hey Rose!
I know how hard it is to do O! every morning! I never even thought it was possible to exercise so early in the day until I started reading your posts! Just remember that we all go through different phases and times where we'll be stronger or weaker at disciplining ourselves to do our O! Do you think that starting a 10 day challenge might help? I think it would help me simply because it would help me become more consistent (i.e. I skipped Sunday and Tuesday). Let us know if that will help. I know it always helps me to remind myself that other people are doing it with me, and it makes me feel more accountable for doing it! I wish you luck! Take care, |
yea!!! a challenge!!!
I think a challenge is a great ideal. I always seem to be able to stay motivated because I don't want to be the first or only one to mess up.
What do you say ROSE? Will that work for you? Let's set a date and set some guidelines and see about maybe getting some more people to join us. I have a couple of "pal" I've met through the oxycise board that might like to join us. Rose, I'll be waiting to hear from you. Juliette, you just had a great idea!!! |
Hi Everyone:wave:!
I just wanted to thank you all for being here. Especially today with all this work related stressed. I'm really upset right now and I think O is the answer to help me deal. Juliette and Barbg-I'm all for the challenge. You name the date and I'll start too. This is just what I need and with your support I know I'll do it:)! Please let me know when you all plan to start. I'll check in this weekend to see what you think. Barb get as many people doing it with us as you can. The more the merrier:)! catz-I wanted to let you know to check out the Oxycise website and also to write Julie at [email protected] and ask her for her breathing tips. If you can't reach her I could email them to you too if you would like. I think someone sent me a copy to my job and I saved it. Just let me know:)! I hope you'll post here with us often. Okay I need to get back to work but I'm doing this half heartedly because of something that happened. I'll explain more later but until then let's all keep breathing:). Oh and let me know a good start date everybody. Claire and Susan R are you up for the challenge? Check in to let us know:)! |
Challenge!
How about Wednesday? I know it probably sounds weird being the middle of the week, but it will give us a few days to get organized.
I figure we can start small - 10 days. That would take us through the following Friday. I remember reading the thread of people doing a 21 day challenge for Tae Bo and I think it would be great to use their idea here too! On a sad note, I haven't O!d this weekend. It's just been sooooo busy!!!! But I'll definitely be doing it tomorrow morning! And definitely from Wednesday on - especially if that's the agreed upon start date!!! Rose - hope your job gets better for you. It is so tough when things aren't working at work!!! We're here for you if you ever need to vent... |
Wed Sounds GREAT!!!
I thank Wed is a good day. That way we only have one weekend. Weekends seem to be my downfall. Sould we post every day (if we can)?
|
Hi!
I'm new to this site, but not new to Oxycise. I was doing quite well back in January, then got hit by all kinds of things. I have had job problems, to say the least--a temp job ended, then I hunted, and found what looked good but turned out to be "the job from ****". I've been looking again for a week and now have an appointment for tomorrow that I think is going to be "THE ONE". It's in a field I am familiar with, but has much more training--and more money--than I had before. The pay is good even during training. I'm praying this will be it! My husband has had 3 surgeries since Feb 14, and that messed things up, too. He's getting closer to normal now. Enough excuses why I haven't "O"d? Today is the day to get started again, and maybe reporting to you will help. Barb G invited me, so if my rambling gets too bad, blame her!! lol My name is Nancy, and I'm 61 years old with two grown children. I need to lose about 70 lbs. And, from my login name, you might guess that I live in Phoenix, AZ. That means I really need to drink more than a gallon of water a day if I want to be healthy and lose weight! I've already weighed today, and need to measure. I hope your encouragement will help keep me committed to doing O every day! Nancy |
Hi Everyone:wave:!
Juliette-Weds. sounds great:)! I'll be ready. I actually did O once this weekend. It did feel good but that was all I did the whole weekend:mad:! I know how it is with the busy thing. I'm having the same problem. But I know O will help and why don't you start a new challenge thread for us:)! That would be great! And thanks for understanding about the job and my need to vent. You're an angel. Barbg-Yes let's do the challenge starting Weds. The weekends are so hard for me too but with your support I know we can do it:)! I will definitely try to post everyday and least a yes or no but I plan on being committed to O this time and doing it for 10 days:). Nancy-Hi I remember you:)! I'm glad Barb told you about us and that you are going to join us. That's great. The more the merrier. And don't worry about the reasons why we haven't been Oeing. I can come up with a million of them the important thing is that we are starting again and for at least 10 days we'll be doing O and feeling great. Okay everyone I have to get back to work but I'm getting psyched for this challenge. I've got all my tapes lined up and ready to go.:) |
Hi everyone!
This is going to be a real quick post but I say let's go for the challenge! I love that idea! Rose, when I read that you have been stressed out and that you hadn't been doing your O!, I wanted you to know that I felt like that too when I had both those things going against me last month. I believe that O! helps my stress level sooooo much that when I DON'T do it, I can really feel the difference in a VERY negative way! :( It is at that point that I realize just how much I need my Oxycise! So.....with everyone's support, this idea of a challenge with its accountability to both each other and ourselves, I think we're all on our way to feeling GO!O!D again!!! :D Lucidone, I love that heading you had! MO!tivation! That's great!!!!!! :D Okay everyone, let's do it! :spin: Susan R. |
New Thread TomorrO!
WO!W! Sounds like everybody is on board for this Challenge! I think it will be great! Tomorrow morning I will definitely start a new thread for us to go to with our progress and achievements!
Nancy- welcome to 3FC! I've visited the Oxycise boards several times myself, but always feel lost when their threads change all the time. This bulletin board is nice because it's one thread and you don't have to worry about all the negative posts. Although I do enjoy the other board to learn more about O! techniques, and you hear a lot more about what others are doing! Susan - I'm glad you are going to join us! That will be so great! I know you've been a wonderful motivator for all of us, and I think having you with the challenge will help us just that much more! Rose - I totally understand the concept of the short post. Sometimes I don't write anything on here simply because I have no time or energy to write very long, so I just skip it instead of just writing a short hello... but with the challenge, I will definitely try to post no matter what - even if it's "I did it today!" Barbg - thanks for bringing other people in here. I am currently President of a non-profit organization and recruiting people for this board is similar to recruiting people to come to our clubs! It can be a challenge sometimes! Well, time to get to work. Take care everybody! Hope you all O! tomorrow for the start of our CHALLENGE! I've O!d both yesterday and this morning, so I'm already on my way!!! |
Hi!
Just dropping by to say that I did my O both yesterday and today. Will post more tomorrow. Nancy |
ME TOO!!!
I did level 1 yesterday and level 2 today. So, I'm ready to got starting tomorrow.
|
Hi Oers:wave:!
Just a quick post to say how excited I am about this challenge. It's really going to help me out. I'm all set for tomorrow:). Juliette-Thanks for starting the new thread for the challenge:)! This is going to be great. Susan R-Hi I'm so glad you're joining us:). Thanks for understanding what I've been going through lately. I know O will help and with everyone's support on this board I know I will be successful. Thanks for joining us:D. Nancy-Way to go on doing your O! This challenge will be a piece of cake for you:). Barbg-Good job on doing your O! I'm doing L2 tomorrow for my first day of the challengs. I'm really anxious to get started:). Okay everyone I'm ready for this:). Let's all try to post at least once a day to be accountable for what we did or didn't do okay? Juliette is starting a new thread just for this challenge so even if you only have a few minutes just post a yes I did or no I didn't so we can keep each other informed. We can do this:D! Oh and are we going to count the commuter tape as a workout or just the one with the positions? |
