I've recently started walking again (I'm doing alot of Leslie Sansone's DVDs) and it's time to get a new pair of walking shoes. I need a stable shoe. Any recommendations? TIA!
I wear RYKA shoes, I first heard about them on OPRAH about 5-6 years ago and that is what she wears. I tried them and love them. They are very comfy and durable.
I used to buy men's shoes because they wear better than most shoes for women
but these are great and fit better, wide toe box and narrow in the heel area so the don't slip up and down.

If there is a store that specialises in running and walking shoes go there and get fitted for them. They will look at your walk and recommend a specific type of shoe...
