Hi all!

Mustang Sally Great job at picking better choices while celebrating! That's also one of my biggest problems... I think everyone has problems with it actually... when dh came back from Ohio last week, all he could talk about in regards to eating out was the portion sizes! No my dh can eat ALOT, but he says that he couldn't even finish a lot of the meals he ordered, so I can see why eating in the States is even harder than up here!

And congrats on the bathing suit ~ it is sometimes so hard to find a good one, which is why I wear mine right out! :o

Big Sal I hope your dad gets better soon. I know how hard it is to keep yourself motivated to exercise during stressful times (let alone find the time), so just take care of yourself, and do your best. We're rooting for you and your dad too.

BTW, I don't want to work my butt off! There's not much there to begin with! I'd rather work my belly off!

zookeeper You take care of yourself too! I betcha if you relax for the weekend, and get your rest, you'll feel 100% better on Monday ~ and can get back to TaeBo! Slurp up that chicken soup!

Copperblu That's a great attitude :D I feel much better today (emotionally), although my knees are still bothering me....

I skipped all the leg (knee) machines at Curves yesterday, but they're still aching. I had a fairly serious knee injury late last year, and it took a good couple of months to recover. I've always had problems with them, and now I don't know what the problem is. Oh well, I'll skip the leg machines again today, and then take the weekend off from any serious walking and exercising, so as to give them a chance to recover. Then if they're still bugging me, I'll have the doctor check them out next week. It's disappointing though, since I WANT to work out!!!

But, everything's otherwise good ~ and I'm looking forward to this afternoon, when my chickies arrive! This is our second year having chickens, and they are sooooo cute for the first week, then they're cute in an awkward sort of way for another couple weeks, kinda like teenagers! God, I am such a sucker for animals!

This morning, as I was leaving my yard, a bald eagle swooped down over my car, and passed right over my windshield.... another reminder as to why I love living in the country. Last night we could hear the coyotes howling in the distance, and then such a beautiful sight this morning.... I will never live in town again!

But, enough rambling, I'll see you all on Monday! Have a great one!

Managed to fit in my ' figure it out" areobics tape yesterday. It's a good combination tape - starting off with upper & lower body routines, then moving on back to front workouts and finishing up with an all over body work out. The last 10 mins or so are based on your thighs & boy can I feel it this morning. Must be doing some good then. To be honest I struggled through the work out as I have a bit of a cold & was out of breathe really easily - must have caught Zoo's cold - is that possible over the internet ?????

Today though I plan on do the Tae Bo basic - this will probably kill me - but I am determind to get back to it. If only I could be as good with my eating ????? I have eaten rubbish for Scotland this week - but Monday is a new week - I was hoping to be back on points before then, but DH has suggested we get an indian takeaway tonight & after the week we've had I think we deserve it. No doubt I'll regret it when I see those scales on Monday.

Dad is getting better every day we see him, he still has a long way to go, but hopefully he will be moved to a hospital closer to home soon.

See you later ladies, keep working those butts (& tummies) off.

Hi

Is this a group that can be joined for daily exercise :) support. If so I'd like to join

So far this week ~ Lower body weights workout 35 minutes + abdominals.
My goal for this week at least 3, 20 minute or more aerobic workouts. ( moderate
fast walking, treadmill or exercise bike ) + 1 lower and 1 upper body weights workout/

I hope it was ok for me to just jump right in. I'm doing great with my food right now, so
exercise is my missing ingredient. :) Looks like you guys are already dedicated exercisers.

Have a great Day
