Losing weight is 90% what food we’re putting in our mouth. And 10% exercise/tone.
But YES yoga burns fat. A fast-paced, vigorous style of yoga, like Vinyasa or Ashtanga, will burn more fat and calories, for example, than a slow, meditative class. And Bikram (hot) yoga is ‘next level’ for burning fat.

Yoga does have a cardiovascular element. A vigorous athletic form of yoga can raise your heart rate for a good 20 minutes. Bikram is a 90 minute class. And yoga poses that focus on the core such as plank, chaturanga, and boat pose, can help tone the abdominal muscles underneath.

Just some of the other good aspects of yoga is it’s known to improve sleep, sex and depression. It’s an amazing holistic approach to health and is also thought to impact how we eat.

Any exercise in a controlled calorie deficit will burn fat over time.

Default Does yoga burn the fat

Im not "yoga spitural" either, but do find it benifiical. You can let the "light" talk = gigo garbage in, garbage out and keep working at the physical part

Sure! Yoga can be a great option for weight loss, as it combines physical movement, strength-building, and mindfulness. While it may not burn fat as quickly as high-intensity exercises, regular yoga practice can contribute to weight loss and overall well-being. Remember to focus on a healthy diet as well.

Yoga isn't a high-intensity calorie-burner like some workouts, but it contributes to weight loss by promoting mindfulness and overall well-being. If you want to lose weight, combining yoga with cardio and a balanced diet is effective. By the way, if you're on the fitness journey, I look for fitness center, any compel fitness reviews? Reviews are golden for finding the right fit.
