JUST DANCE video game: are there players on here?

  • So I purchased the beast (xbox one s console with a kinect motion sensor) last week and I was able to try it only today (I learnt the thing can't function properly if the internet connection isn't super good, which was the case in my house, so I bought a router to go with it.)
Anyway...did some BADASS dancing today. Heck! I'm so out of shape!
    1) seeing myself onscreen live was revealing. I've been avoiding pictures and mirrors of late, so I didn't have a fair idea of how bad things have gotten. Today, I saw a round thing jumping left and right on the screen, it was just hard to believe THAT was ME! If there weren't limbs and a head, I wouldn't even LOOK HUMAN!!!
As if that wasn't enough, the damn thing took the initiative to record my dances and project them back. That round, shapeless and funny body: it's someone else. It can't be me. I'm not that fat, obese person I'm seeing.
2)I picked songs that I loved...couldn't finish some of them.
I'm still exploring the whole thing. So tomorrow I'm going to make a playlist and start. I love to dance and I think I can do one hour of this everyday to fight against my sedentary lifestyle, so help me GOD.
Anyone wants to become buddies with me for JD? it's fun and it's worth it.
My gamertag is AllegingMink499 (whatever that means). Waiting for you!
  • ***ALSO...if you know of other Kinect games (i don't like Shape UP) which are playable on xbox one/ xbox one s, please give me a shout out; I'm interested. I especially love table tenis, tenis, anything really fun actually.***
  • I actually do play Just Dance, but I play older versions on my Wii However, I did want to let you know that you can change your GamerTag from the random one they give you. I don't quite remember how it's done, but you can probably find a tutorial on the Internet somewhere. Unfortunately, it's really hard to come up a good GamerTag because so many of them have been claimed!
  • I kinda like that gamertag. Thought of changing it, then decided to keep it.
I did buy older versions too, from 2014. Have you learned the dances or you just play them randomly?
