New To This

Hello! This is my first post and I need some help. I am a busy mom to 3 kids (9,5,and 8 months), I work full time and currently breastfeed my 8 month old. I am trying to get back in shape. I have my fitness pal on my phone to track food. I really need to lose weight all over, but I also want to focus on my arms, thighs, and abs. I have lose skin which I struggle accepting. I have an elliptical which I can use and do not mind getting free weights if needed.

But I do not know where to start! I need an at home work out routine because going to the gym is just not an option right now. Can anyone offer advise or a place that I can print off a routine?

I have pinned many things on Pintrest, but its so overwhelming and I do not know where to start.

I really appreciate any help you can offer.:)

If you like doing workouts to video, I really enjoyed Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and I don't think it costs very much. Or Beachbody On Demand is $99 for a year, and you get access to every Beachbody program they ever made and you can stream on pretty much any internet enabled device. I signed up for that and am currently doing their Focus T25 and Piyo programs.

I find that it's better for me personally to follow a trainer and do a program a professional has outlined because they build in the rest days, the routine changes, etc. so that you get enough recovery and enough change in what you're doing to keep seeing improvements.

I suggest doing both cardio and weightlifting.

I think the squat would be a good place to start. It's one of the best exercises for both burning fat and building muscle because it works many different muscles. You can start without weights, and then increase the weight when it gets too easy, and you can do them about twice a week.
