Exercise=Improved Sex Life? (sorry for being a bit risque)

Apologies in advance for being a bit risque (the underage need not read), but I thought it was a subject worth approaching.

Just wondering if anyone here has seen an improvement in their sex life because of losing weight / becoming more fit / healthier? I'm single so it may not apply to me as much but I'm a very curious person and was DYING to get some thoughts on this.

Is there more of a physical attraction? Do you feel you have more energy? Do you get better looks?? lol ....Do tell!!

Peace,
-Daniela:carrot:

I can definitely perform better.

But the desire to have sex is down as the high from exercise is a little bit like the high from sex.

Or at least I think so. Which might explain why I like exercising so much...

Yes, definitely things are better since losing some weight. More interest, more body confidence... and I'm going on 9 years with my husband here, so it's not like it's a "new partner" rush.

I feel better overall since losing some weight and toning up...

Yes , yes , yes , yes.
Perform better and also libido is higher and i have only lost 3 pounds.
Im saying, its not about the weight or image in general, its mostly about how it makes you feel. Of course, losing weight is a bonus and sometimes the ultimate goal, but i find the high that exercise gives me is the main reason why i go to the gym.

In some ways yes, in some ways no. I was certainly hoping for a more drastic increase in libido, but it didn't quite happen that way. To be honest, after a workout, I'm usually too tired for sex so that doesn't quite have the impact I've heard others have! But I feel sexier in general, which helps me mentally. Actually "performing" is easier in many ways since I'm physically able to do more without my muscles getting tired!

Everyone will react differently but I think you can expect at least a small positive change :)

I would say yes. I don't think my libido has increased but I feel like it has always been kind of high. However, feeling better about myself boosts my confidence and just performance overall. Being able to breathe better helps! lol

With my husband or with other people?

IanG 03-17-2015 08:13 PM

Now, that is risqué!

nickilaughs 03-18-2015 12:02 AM

It was meant to make people laugh. Guess it didn't work. But yes, it's better. ;)
