Nice work Deva!!

Took a week off running post race but going to do a nice longish one in the morning - I'm thinking flat 5-6 miles.

Anyone else enjoying these fabulous Sept. running temps?

great job, Deva.

lm3898, have fun getting back out there!

I've still been running some. About 3 days per week now (weights 3 days per week). Ran 9, and 6 miles this week. Planning on doing 12 or so tomorrow if it doesn't storm :)

I've just gotten back into running. I did 10 miles last week (in one go) and 8.2 miles (Wednesday) on the elliptical. Each week, I am averaging around 20 miles a week. So, I decided to take that stamina to the treadmill. To my huge surprise, I could do 30 minutes jogging without stopping. I haven't been able to do that since I was 15 (26 now) and before my knee injury. I took that outside today in the hot sun and was able to jog 2.2 miles at a slower pace (looking at a 12 minute mile). I'm disappointed that I am so slow but I guess it could be worse for a beginner. I'll try to work on the speed and the distance outside. At least I can jog more than 50 feet without feeling I was going to pass out. :) Do you guys use the Nike+ Running App? I did today and it was actually great and accurate.

Don't worry about speed--the entire thing about running is being able to do it--and that's what really counts. And it's sounds like you're doing just great at that.

Agree with Kscott...it's not about the time, it's about the stamina in my opinion!

Four beautiful miles on Saturday. Stopped about 2.5 miles in b/c there was a smoking bush lol no joke, some idiot had dumped charcoal. So after calling the fire dept, I continued on my run. LOVE these temps!!!

Nice job!

I went to a wedding this weekend in Killington, VT - it was STUNNING!! Hubby, myself & friends hiked to the Killington Peak - oh my!! Over 2k feet elevation to the top - glorious!

Coming down was SO steep though it got a little dicey - luckily everyone made it down safely. Just under 7 miles total.
