Another 10K in the bag
And I'm proud to report that not only did I have what is for me a great time (47:33) but I was the top placing female!!
I finished 12th overall out of 72 racers. I've posted the long - very long and probably boring - race report on my blog. http://jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com/...-10k-race.html Jen |
That's is QUITE impressive! Way to go!
|
Wow. That is fast. I have just hit 4 miles in 40 minutes.
And that was running like the police were chasing me! |
Fantastic you're even placing well! Maybe a 1/2 marathon in the future for you?

That's awesome, Jen! How long have you been running, if you don't mind me asking? I'm seriously impressed by your time!
|
Thanks everyone!
Nienna, I started running on the treadmill in November 2010. I weighed 289 pounds. I ran my first mile straight outside in May of 2011. It took me just over 16 minutes. Since then I've been steadily increasing my running and find myself where I am now! Jen |
Thats awesome! my 5k time is higher than your 10k time :) of course I am still mostly walking with some light jogging drills. I'll get there someday!
