I can't lie, I kinda fell off the wagon :(
So I did do zumba yesterday, and I went to the gym the day before that. But I haven't been really exercising lately. I haven't been in the mood for anything.
When I went to the gym I didn't even work out to my full potential so I got upset. And the only reason I did zumba is because I ordered it and it got delivered to me yesterday. This morning I did absolutely nothing, not even my calisthenics. I have no motivation for working out. And it scares me. I also been eating foods that aren't the best. Now I'm not depressed or anything, I feel completely fine, it's just whenever I think of working out i cringe. And since it's been so long I don't know where to start. |
One thing I read somewhere is that on this journey to better choices, food-wise and exercise-wise, the wagon doesn't move when you fall off of it. You don't have to catch up--you just have to start again.
Coming here for support is the right thing to do--and I'm offering you a hand up--you can do this--you've lost 25 lbs which is enough to have made a significant difference to your body, health-wise--you can do this and I'm cheering for you! |
Sounds like you need to find your motivation again. Maybe you just need to switch it up a bit. What motivated you in the first place? Try watching Biggest Loser series to help get you going...it's what works for me. LOL

4 to 5 times a week of good exercise takes 10 to 15 years off of your physical age. That is a fact. And there's no better feeling than feeling like you're 10 to 20 years younger. And that's what consistent exercise does for you. |
Try to plan your workouts like a daily routine, your body and mind will get used to the routine almost like a biological alarm clock. I walk everyday in the morning, and then at night if I get a chance. After a while my body started to get antsy when I was doing nothing almost as if it was telling me lets go work out. I also do not overload my body, I noticed the moment I start doing heavy workouts with extra loads my body would go into stress mode, after, I would overeat and my mind would associate the workout with a stressful situation making it less willing to go through the same expirience again.
