Feeling sick after exercise?
I just went for a 10 minute jog (the most I can do haha), a 10 minute walk and did 55 squats, 25 crunches and a 25 second plank.
And now I feel sick to my stomach. And it's not mentally, I just feel like I can't even keep a glass of water in there. I want to have my post workout protein shake. But it'll probably make my stomach ache worse. This happens frequently and seems to be exacerbated by stretching after. Does anyone else get that? |
I feel like this sometimes too and, contrary to what you feel, for ME it is hunger and I need to eat something even though I "think" I will throw up. Even without a workout, sometimes I will get very very nauseous and for me that means I need to eat something right away.

One of my friends said the same thing and I had my shake. I do feel better haha. Funny how that works! Thanks for responding ! :)

Er, heck yeah. 2 miles in 20 minutes on the treadmill and I need to sit for 5 minutes, sometimes coughing after! I haven't actually been sick yet though, but when I push it I sure can feel it.
Not working out on a full stomach helps me. A protein shake too if I am hungry afterwards but I am trying to use less of them, especially when I eat adequate protein the day before. |
