Silverfire, do it with me and Melissa! And we have to convince Mozzy to jump on the C25K train with us!!
Elvis - you are doing so awesome!! I jogged for 5 minutes out of 20 on the treadmill this morning! I think I might start the C25K Monday! I have a feeling I will be stuck on the first day for a few days though Mozzy! Wanna hop on this bandwagon with me? The sooner the better right?

I'll be starting on Monday too (or maybe Sunday)! We can do it!
Week 2, Day 1 Complete! It was harder than last week but still refreshing and challenging. I will admit I was glad to hear the voice say "begin cool down"!
I think I might do M/W/F as a schedule to keep it logical in my head. I didn't really want 2 days off in a row but I'm dedicated to this challenge. Plus I told some people I am doing it so now I'm all in!
Awesome, Angelic Fruitcake!! I seriously can't believe my body is able to do this. It's like an out of body experience except I'm sore the next day LOL!
On Sundays I like to go to a Zumba class at my gym and yesterday was no different. Except it was. It was Easter Sunday and so classes were canceled. Since I was already at the gym, I decided I was going to get some kind of workout but what? I'd already spun the day before.
I hopped onto the elliptical and was promptly bored.
From the corner of my eye, I saw the treadmills and all the happy runners just trekking along (I lied. everyone was too out of breath to look happy) and I thought what if?
My friends and sister have decided to do a 5K in June and though I've been vehemently against starting any running program until I lose 35 lbs (for the sake of my knees you see), something must have seeped into my subconcious.
Before I could actually coherently say 'I'm doing this', I was on the treadmill and before I knew it, I'd finished day one of C25K (Is it sad that I know most of the program by heart?). I'd started it before 2 years ago when I weighed 212 lbs and I really think the extra 25lbs make a difference on my knees but I'm willing to see where this goes.
Moral of this long nonsensical post: I guess I'm a runner too. Or: I guess I'm doing this thang!

I did it! This morning I did day one I struggled through, and only quit 10 seconds early on a jogging part once! My knees don't hurt nearly as bad as I was expecting! Boy, I can't jog in a straight line though, I was all over the place, nearly bouncing off the sides of the damn treadmill lol. I am sure form will come with practice right?
