Derby Girls?
 

Hey Ladies,

Just wondering if there are any Roller Derby chicks around?

I have always dreamed of joining Roller Derby, its just so bad a$$. One time, about 50lbs ago, some local derby girls tried to get me to join, but back then I thought I was too fat and out of shape. Now I have been thinking about it more and more, and I think after I lose those 50lbs and am in better shape, I would really like to try out.

I think, if I don't cry every time I get hit or my knees don't dissolve, I could be pretty good at it :)

I would love to do roller derby myself. There is none around here though. :(

That sucks! There are actually quite a few teams in my neck of the woods (thankfully)! Maybe there is something that you can commute to, if its not too terribly far out of the way :)
