Default Bodymedia Fit Link vs Fitbit


I'm just starting to look into these things. I do some alternative types of exercise so it's not like I can ask a treadmill to approximate calories burned. I play roller hockey once or twice a week and then I try to go on a walk/hike with my dog on the weekend.

It looks like the Fit Link might be better for me because the Fit Bit seems to based on steps and roller hockey is hard to be judged by "steps."

I would love to hear your thoughts!

I have a Nike Fuelband which I think is pretty fun so far... I'm not exactly sure how good it would be for roller hockey though... But trying to hit my "fuel" goal everyday really has me moving around a lot more than I normally would... So I guess that's a good thing... Definitely very motivating...
