AHHH Missed my first workout - Hugs?!

Alright, I know it sounds stupid BUT I am allowed to sound stupid on here :D This site is my saving grace!

I am on week 4 of the Last Chance workout program and I haven't missed a day yet. I have lost 9 lbs and am slowly letting myself feel fabulous.

BUT, then life happened. I had a very stressful evening last night. Tears, an tough convo with my boss (yes, on a Sunday at 6 pm), a new semester at school- just....yuck. I had to catch up on some lesson planning this morning before the students got in (new day of courses) and I am at school until 8 30 tonight with parent-teacher interviews.

I COULD technically go home and work out till 10, then wake up again to work out at 6, but that seems stupid to me. I am emotionally exhausted and life shat on me in these 24 hours.

BUT I gained the weight from teaching and being too tired for me-time in the first place! Overall, one workout isn't the be-all-end-all of weight loss. I just don't want to derail!!!

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaah tell me to shut up and go to sleep and kill it tomorrow :D

lol have I mentioned that I love you, ladies? :val1:

 What a time you've had these past couple of days! Missing 1 workout won't undo all the awesome progress you've made, I promise!

I hope the rest of this week is better for you!!

Go to sleep, recharge your mind and body. Tomorrow is soon enough. Hugs

Thanks, guys! I took your advice and recharged last night. I got up this morning and aaaaalmost nailed it! My new workout is super long and I find I need to do the last part of it in the afternoon. I am working on beginning BEFORE seven, and having enough time!

Thanks again :) How were your days?! :)

Glad you are feeling better today! While it's nice to challenge ourselves with things like staying perfectly on plan every day or working out every day, it's also good to understand that we aren't perfect. And you are right back on track today, which is what really matters.

I understand where your head was though. When you know how you got derailed/let things slip in the past, you get very worried and overly cautious to not repeat history. But... life happens and days will be missed for one thing or another.

Good for you for getting the sleep you need and working out this morning to get right back to it.
