You could go real old school and do sit-ups, push-up, and jumping jacks... They all still do the trick in a pinch and no equipment required.... :)

Do you have a Wii? I use the internet connection to get to youtube and do workout videos on my tv. Love it!

I was thinking about doing both! I found one yoga show on netflix but needed something a little more

Look up convict conditioning - it's exercises that prisoners do in their cells to build muscle!

I have a mini stepper machine and since I live where it rains an awful lot, including the summers, it does come in handy on those days. I'm sure you could get one fairly cheap. Then I have weights I use at home. In fact, I mostly exercise at home instead of outside.

How about some workout DVDs? Target sells some for pretty cheap, and I'm sure Walmart has some for even cheaper! Find one that has a few different workouts on it so you don't get bored doing the same thing.

That sounds very interesting. Sorry to hijack the thread but I think I'm gunna look into that too.

To answer Heather, when it's cold or miserable out, or I just feel like working out inside, I do a variety of exercises. If you go on Pinterest and type in workouts or something similar there are literally a million "challenges" and plans to use. Most of them are strength, but as another person mentioned, jumping jacks, skipping rope, jogging in place. All that will do!

Youtube...You can find full versions of Tae Bo and others. They have some cool Pilates classes as well. I'm doing a body combat video now....it'll make you sweat!
