Planet Fitness. Thoughts?
 

Not sure how many/where the majority of Planet Fitness's are located (I am on the E. Coast), but I wanted to see if anyone else has a membership there.

I have been a member for over a year- started out with the regular membership, and then upgraded to the Gold Card as my cousin lives with me and we share the membership. I know all chain locations can have major differences, but generally speaking I think PF is not a bad deal. I wish they had more variety as far as cardio/weight machines are concerned, but I am impressed with the overall quality for the price.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I like PF. Since there are so many locations it is great for a student (I recently graduated). I was able to move my membership from Fl to NY for school and then back to FL. I did notice a difference between the locations. The one in NY was newer, much nicer equipment, more amenities, etc. Either way both provide all I need in a gym at a low cost. I think it is just wonderful.

One thing I would add if I could would be a lap pool.
