Question Exercise and food?

So. I figure you cant exercise too much, right? But how do I know if I eat enough compared to how much I exercise?
Im thinking about doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. But its only for 30 mins or so a day. So Im going to mix it in with my Zumba, so that Im atleast working out an hour a day. But how do I know if Im eating too much or too little compared to how much Im working out?

I don't count exercise. It's bonus.

For me, it's a slippery slope if I start giving myself extra calories for going to the gym.

Well, yes you can exercise too much, but it doesn't sound like that's your situation.

The simplest way to know if you're eating "enough" is calorie counting IMO. I like using My Fitness Pal to track my calories and my calories burned. How many of those calories burned you should "eat back" is highly personal and dependent on how much weight you have to lose and what kind of exercise you're doing (i.e. cardio/endurance vs strength training or HIIT).
